Sexuality | Asexual. She has no desire to couple with anyone.
Romance Preferences | Demiromantic. She is willing to consider a romantic relationship with another if there is already a foundation of friendship and trust. It matters little to her if she should take interest in a male, female, androgynous individual, etc.

Personality | She isn't like your stereotypical artist, in any sense of the world. Many concepts have artists who overflow with creativity, are spontaneous, and aren't overly organized. However she does embody other traits of stereotypical artists; she is determined, artistic, passionate, resilient, and driven. Aiyanna is fine with how she is, caring not whether others think of her.

History
As a Quadruped - She was found as a young kit near a human's house. Having heard her cries, the young woman had taken her in. There she was doted on, growing up without worry about going without anything she might need or want. She also had a motherly figure in Cherie, a red merle Starry. Aiyanna was grateful for everything that she had growing up, knowing she might not have even survived had they not taken her in when she was so young.
Cherie taught her how to live true to herself, but still able to conform to humans' needs and desires. Lessons that would always be given kindly, gently; and ones that would remain with her for the rest of her life.

As a Human | Her childhood wasn't all that great - she wasn't in some grand home nor was she poor or an orphan. Nothing fantastic happened as she grew up, went to school, found friends, or moved around with her family. But she did have a wonderful family, for which she will always be grateful. They were always supportive of her, even when they didn't always understand her reasoning behind decisions. Perhaps it was because of them that she always strove to make them proud - in school, behavior, life choices. In fact, it was because of her desire to do well by her kin that she planned to become an IT major when she went to college - to follow in their footsteps.
That is until her first job. She landed a sales associate job at a small design shop in her newest town. After her parents had to move, she had been determined to get a job, despite being in a new area and in the middle of her junior year. It wasn't that she suddenly wanted to become a fashion designer - although she did take an interest in it. Rather, she found that she did have a passion for creating things and realized that she likely wouldn't enjoy an IT job any longer after coming to that realization.
For several months she pondered on this, just letting inspiration flow from her around her schoolwork and job. Finally realizing that writing was her number one passion, with sketching and designing not too far behind, she approached her parents. They were skeptical at first, believing the stereotypes about writers and artists in general. Nevertheless, they offered her their support, wanting not to force their beliefs on their daughter; rather they figured she'd have to find her own path, make her own mistakes - learn and grow from them - and continue to follow her passions wherever they may lead her.
So Aiyanna began to write. First little blurbs of stories here and there. Drafts of fantasy realms and creatures. Then by the beginning of her senior year, she had progressed to writing short stories and participating in writing contests. She never placed first, though she almost always got recognition in regional competitions and sometimes larger scale ones. At times she was discouraged, as the work could be difficult but her love for writing and the ability to doodle and design fashion pieces did help to relieve a great deal of her stress.
Later, she attended an in-state college which would allow her to create her own major. With some convincing she was able to do a graphics minor to her English major, figuring the minor could help her in fashion design - even if it wasn't a formal designing major. It took her the normal four years, but she graduated with high grades and with a fair amount of experience and confidence under her belt. However, rather than trying to move on to bigger and better things, she's content to live in the town where she got her first job, staying loyal to the owner and staff there after all they did for her. She's eternally grateful for all of that, and does her utmost to repay them in every way she can.

Job
As a Quadruped - She is the companion of an accessory maker who specializes in unique, Victorian inspired hats, collars, and other accessories. Aiyanna is part companion, part store pet, part mascot, and part model for the shop. She is pampered there and well taken care of by the owner, staff, and the visiting customers.

As a Human | She is a full time writer and part-time designer and sewer for the same shop - a small, quaint number - one of the lead designers and makers within the shop. She has no favorite item to create, however she does favor monochromatic color schemes - sometimes with bits of color (usually in the form of swirls, feathers, or flowers) thrown in. And in truth, it is because of her love of creating and writing stories that she has no favorite thing to make. While she enjoys sewing and making beautiful pieces, her heart is in the words she scribbles on paper and types up on her computer. If she didn't feel indebted to - although the woman says there's no need to be - the woman who took a chance on her and took her in, she likely wouldn't be a fashion designer or seamstress whatsoever.

Partner | None currently. And she is fine with this. She isn't particularly looking but isn't afraid to pursue a romantic relationship should she take interest in another individual.

Relationships | Most of her relationships are on an acquaintance or co-worker basis. She has few that she considers friends and even fewer who she considers herself close to.

Lifestyle | She lives and breathes fashion. While she does keep track of trends, she doesn't tend to let it affect her own designs unless commissioned to follow a trend - and even then she puts her own little flair to it.
As a Quadruped - She lives with the shop owner, going where she goes. Of course she is given her freedom, thanks to the training she follows. So sometimes she wanders from the shop to do her own thing. Everyone knows her so she is often given free treats - according to her preferences of course - from humans and most often greeted pleasantly by others.

As a Human | She lives in an apartment above the shop. To her it is a cheaper and more beneficial solution. She has a simpler rent, can get to work easily, and can transport any of her creations to the shop with little difficulty or chance of ruining it. That isn't to say she doesn't leave the shop's building ever; more like she just prefers the convenience she she loves her work so much.
