Daryl has worked as a janitor of a hospital for years now and knows the ins and outs of the building by heart. His plan? Go there. Starting by stake out the cafeteria slowly take over the main floor of the building and move up from there. The hospital can be completely locked down quite easily, is had generators, food and of course medication and beds to sleep on. The only real flaw is the basement levels... they would be blocked off and heavily barred off till he's ready to take care of what could be down there....

The main food source is obviously the cafeteria and it's
connecting lunch rooms and kitchens. This hospital is
in a decent location of town and food could be raided
from near by buildings if it's tons of food ever ran out...

W E A P O N S
Weapons would be a slightly larger problem in the
hospital, unless he was able to stock up days in advance.
Of course there are good melee weapons but few guns
unless he can get one off a guard even then his bullets
would be limited... his best weapon would be powerful
cleaning chemicals and setting up traps.

S A F E . H O U S E



Hospital, cafeteria, more specifically the safe lunch
room. The door locks, has a few heavy vending
machines to block the doors at night and has
comfortable chairs for sleeping. It also leads to a
possible exit from the building.

T E A M . W O R K
He is not easy to get along with, but Joel is all about
team work, as long as you can prove you aren't going
to loose your mind and start killing anyone else he
may have with him. He has a weakness to women,
children, and disabled/elderly... as long as he gets
the feeling they aren't faking being weak or needing
any add.

"Well, of course this is a hard decision to make considering I'm talkin' bout myself. Anyways, I find myself
quiet charmin', not a personality eh, well then. I could see myself bein' trustworthy and a hardy leader,
again though, its a hard thought. Ellie says that I am a incredibly dislikable Parra, but I have my doubts
on that one."
From playing the game, I found that Joel was quite serious about staying alive and rarely joked about anything.
He almost never failed to achieve his goal and always found ways to fix a problem. I noticed that Joel doesn't
always feel to fond of new people that he meets, but later on seems to trust them more.

"Its getting harder and harder to actually enjoy things these days, but if I had to choose some things, these would
be them:
1. "Havin' small conversations with Ellie"
"Although Ellie can be a load, she is almost always a great Parra to sit down and have a chat with,
a time for us to really connect."
2. "Thinkin' back to the old days"
"Sometimes I just enjoy sittin' down and thinkin' 'bout how things used to be. Back when me and my girl
Sarah used to go out and buy and ice cream. Back when she bought my watch..."
3. "Finding old friends or relatives"
I always love it when Ellie and I bump into old family members that I haven't seen since the outbreak.
Its nice to find out that a loved one is still alive and healthy."

"I strongly dislike those wretched creatures, although I do feel pity for them. Innocent Parras, attacked by the
Ophiocordyceps Unilateralis, dead. They are high on my list though, because they often attempt killing me.."
3. "The now"
"The now is what I call our days, I hate it. I hate livin' in the Quarantine Zones for half my life,
everyone turnin' on each other, stuff like that..."

:Food Source:
For food, I will make sure that we can stack up on mostly vegetables, basically because they seem
to last a while longer than meets or fruits. But for meat, I count on Ellie to hunt. She is quite fine at
it. She never fails to impress me when she comes back.

:Weapons:
"Weapons are getting harder and harder to find because of all of the Parra's escapin' the Quarantine
zones. They seem to be stackin' up, so I suppose that we should to. What I seem to go for are Shivs,
these tiny scissor scrap blades always come into good use when fightin' off other Parras or the Infected.
One hit to the neck and they are a goner. Another weapon of choice would have to be a M16A4 Rifle,
or a Assault Rifle, because you don't have to get to close to your enemy, take 'em down before they see
ya'.

:Safe House:'
"I usually like to take refuge in a larger building that is more broken down than others. I do this mostly
because it means more places to hide so that I can stealth up to them and give them a shiv to the back.
Although, another reason is so that we have more places to scavenge for loot and weapons. Smaller houses
also come in handy at times because if you where to get attacked, there is little place that the enemy can hide."

:Team Player?:
"Although I do prefer to work alone, I don't always mind other Parra's taggin' along. Ellie for example,
I really didn't want to take her with me, I never agreed with anythin' she said, but after awhile, I softened
up and began workin' with her, not against. So, am I a team player? I would say; at times, yes. Other times, no."
