::Fury::
"Majestic and noble, these creatures have the intellect to match humans. They isolate themselves from the human world; preferring to live among themselves. Their society can be quite complex. Like the humans, they have rankings. Starting from the highest is the royal family which includes the king, queen, and princes and princesses which rule over the land. Under the royal family comes the noble families which is split into 4 clans and whose existence is to support and protect the royal family.*** After the noble family comes the royal guards. Then the craftsmen, followed by nomads and traders, and lastly, the serfs.
Each and every fury is gifted with the power of transformation from birth.They can transform into "humans" with the only exception of keeping their ears and tails, and sometimes fur on some parts of their bodies. A special characteristic of furies are their long and elegant ears. The more "pure" their blood is, the higher in ranking they come, so the longer their ears are. The royal family members' ears are quite long and graceful.
The royal guards are chosen from the 4 clans. Each member of the royal family has 2 personal guards with them at all times. From the time of their birth until either they die or is striped from their royal title one way or another. The guards can change throughout the royal's lifetime. The royal guards are chosen at birth and from the moment they could walk, they are trained to kill, to use any and all weapons, and any other skill required to protect the royal family members. When a vacant space is available, the 4 clans come together and chose one of their best to compete. The winner will take that empty slot.
***The noble family is divided into 4 clans. Each clan has their own special characteristics and affinities.
- Livet (the healers, shamans, potion makers, etc) /Livet clan furies are known for their profound knowledge of nature, herbs, and the earth itself. They have the best and the most advanced medical skills which are sought out worldwide. There are a few, not many, who specialize in poisons as well. Most lower Livet furies specialize in perfume, wine, and tea. This clan is also known for their stealth, enabling them to move without any sound. The royal guards from Livet are immune to 99% of all known poisons. From birth, they take doses of all poisons to make their bodies immune. Out of all the clans, Livet's training is known to be the harshest. Most Livet furies know the basic herbs for wounds, pains, illnesses, and such./
- Flammestein (the beast tamers) /Usually have dark to medium colored skin tones because they mainly live in the desert. They wear exotic clothing and aren't afraid to show skin. It's common for them to have multiple piercings as well has hennas or tattoos. Flammesteins are bold and speak their minds. They love dangerous situations. As beast tamers, they have a creature whom they bond with at an early age. The creature they bond with reflect their personality as well as their fears and hopes. The royal guards from Flammestain have power beasts which aids them in battle. Most of these furies make a living by taming simple beasts to be sold to the noble families as pets and decor. Their eyes are slanted, bright, and exotic. Has fire characteristics./
- Vannisen (the magicians, fishermen) /With great affinity towards ice and water, their territory covers the oceans and rivers and lakes and some snow regions as well. When in the water, their body releases an odorless oil which coats their body to keep their temperature from dropping and to help them glide through the water. No creature can compete with a Vannisen fury when they're in the mood to race. Each and every one of them have strong legs and tail muscles to propel them through the water. As magicians, some of them have the power of the sight. With a certain amount of concentration, they can glimps the future or far away lands in water or ice. When angered, Vannisens' powers can be destructive. Their powers can get out of control when they are overwhelmed by emotions. The only accessories Vannisens wear are enchanted jewelry to keep their powers in check if they snap. Few Vannisens have the power of water manipulation. They have the ability to transform water into any form, from arrows of ice to daggers of slicing water./
- Brisvid (the warriors, messengers, strategists) /Known for their battles, Brisvids are the warriors among furies. At a young age, the chosen royal guards are trained in hand to hand combat. Once they have mastered this, they move onto weapon training. Trained with a variety of weapons, they can use almost anything to their advantage. After a while, they will focus on their main weapon strength, may it be sword, daggers, bow and arrows, or spears. On their 16th birthday, each of the chosen royal guards from Brisvid will have a weapon forged just for them from their specific group. The twin daggers once held by the first noble of Brisvid was forged from the fangs of a Giant Basilisk and the scales of a sea dragon. And engraved upon the fangs were the words: "Å tjene og dø for de kongelige juveler." Translation: "To serve and die for the royal jewels." (Royal jewels referring to the royal family.) Many Brisvid furies have the ability of flight. However, for them, wings are not always necessary. With the wind to guide them, they may ride the breeze. Hallow-boned like birds, Brisvid furies are quick, agile, and flexible. Instead of using letters like many furies in the other clans do, Brisvid furies normally communicate by wind. By whispering their words and casting a simple spell, their words will be carried to the receiver with all possible haste./"
