What is a Mippi?
Mippi is a small hyperactive mammal closely related to pikas. The name 'Mippi' originates from the high pitched 'meep' sound they use to communicate with each other. Their body are short, covered in long dense fur to keep them warm in their cold tundra-like habitat. The horns on their head are covered in velvety fur and generally not harmful as they only use these to protect themselves in the nature. Mippis are naturally very social, living in a group of at least 2 individuals [though a group of 20+ are not a rare sight!], and help each other build a series of underground burrow to sleep in, raise their young, and hoard food for winter; such as grass hay, grains and seeds. Because of their fun and loving personality and small size, they are very popular amongst people who do not have much space for larger pet. Would you like to adopt one today?

Username:IBiteBackMippi name:Angel. After a character in a book series that I am currently reading.Gender:Female❥Likes:❥Swimming. She absolutely adores swimming, but she usually just swims in small puddles because she can easily be swept away by the currents in rivers and streams.❥Cuddling. Angel is very big on cuddling and contact, she really depends on it to remain comfortable and calm around new things.❥Butterflies. She loves to watch all the colorful butterflies as they move gracefully from one flower to the other, and Angel has learned that they are incredibly fun to chase.❥A good story. Angel, like most small children, adores being told an interesting story as long as it doesn't end up being scary or having a horrible ending.☁Dislikes:☁ Having to stay still for long periods of time. Angel just can't seem to manage keeping still because she's just got an abundance of energy.☁When someone scares her on purpose because it hurts her feelings and gets her to be completely paranoid for long periods of time afterwards.☁Being "scolded loudly" or yelled at, since Angel bursts into tears and cries for a good ten minutes before she is able to calm down.☁When it a storm is full of thunder and lightning. She's terrified when thunder makes the ground shake and when lightning suddenly strikes.Extra:Against the wishes of her parents, Angel slowly moved toward the beam of light at the end of her family's main entrance tunnel, fluffy ears perked and listening carefully for any sounds of her family members stirring within their rooms. Her heart pounded within her little chest, as she had never defied her parents before and wasn't too excited about doing it now, like she was. She wanted to see them though. Her grandfather had told little Angel all about the stars before his tragic passing a few weeks ago, and she wished to honor his memory tonight by looking at the night sky and seeing if she could spot the constellations her grandfather had once tried to describe to her. Thinking of the sweet older Mippi made her heart throb, and she had to briefly close her eyes to fight back tears that threatened to spill from her vibrant, wonder filled eyes. Her grandfather wouldn't have wanted her to cry over losing him, but to rejoice in the fact that she had gotten to spend time with him in the first place. Not all young Mippis were so lucky, she knew from being told that, but still...her grandfather had been her best friend, someone for Angel to confide in and someone who enjoyed telling her real stories from his youth. Her father didn't have as amazing stories as her grandfather had. No, her father had not taken risks like her grandfather had. Angel quietly slipped out of the dark mouth of the tunnel, looking around for danger or other Mippis out of habit before raising her innocent gaze to the dark sky above. Like fireflies with purer, gentle light, she saw them. Above her, like grains of sand sprinkled over a dark canvas, the stars glittered and blinked at her. One star shone brightly, directly above her like a guardian angel. Suddenly, for the first time since her grandfather had been alive, Angel didn't feel so alone. It was like her grandfather was somewhere, watching over her, but with a quick look around she could not spot him. Still, the feeling of security and the feeling of not being alone remained, and Angel gave a small smile up to the star above her. She didn't know why, but as she turned to retreat back into the darkness of her family's burrow, she looked up at the bright star looming above her. "I love you, Grandpa."
