What is a Mippi?
Mippi is a small hyperactive mammal closely related to pikas. The name 'Mippi' originates from the high pitched 'meep' sound they use to communicate with each other. Their body are short, covered in long dense fur to keep them warm in their cold tundra-like habitat. The horns on their head are covered in velvety fur and generally not harmful as they only use these to protect themselves in the nature. Mippis are naturally very social, living in a group of at least 2 individuals [though a group of 20+ are not a rare sight!], and help each other build a series of underground burrow to sleep in, raise their young, and hoard food for winter; such as grass hay, grains and seeds. Because of their fun and loving personality and small size, they are very popular amongst people who do not have much space for larger pet. Would you like to adopt one today?

Mippi name:
Leighton
Gender:
Male
Personality:
As you can see from the top, Leighton can be described as a quirky gentleman. Although he can not speak, he is rather polite, never jumping on people or tracking dirt into the house. He wipes his feet off on a mat before coming inside! He also likes bowties. When he is not wearing one (rarely happens) he will pick one up, go to his owner, and repeatedly nudge them with it until they put the bowtie around his neck.
Despite being a little gentleman, Leighton is nowhere near regal or graceful. While trying to drink tea, his favorite drink, he will try to drink it like a human, ending up with it all over his fur (Leighton demands baths when this happens). He also doesn't like plain bowties. Not for this mippi. This guy wants the most colorful, unique bowties he can find. From raindow to sparkles. His favorite bowtie is mostly black with shiny gold vertical stripes. Leighton also enjoys to act like he's reading. He will literally sit with a book in front of him for hours staring at a page and flipping them occasionally to give the impression that he's reading. Leighton also likes to sing, or at least try to. Since he can't actually sing, he just imitates notes.
Likes and Dislikes:
Likes- Tea, pretending to read, bicycle rides (in a basket), bowties, pastries, baths (he needs to always look his best), cuddling, playing (duh), "singing".
Dislikes- Dirt, coffee, sour things, cars, non-bow-ties, people telling him that he doesn't know how to read (even though it's true).
