Nightmares are female dreams with equine-like bodies.
They have thick manes and tails that are composed of
nightmares, as well as feathers. The nightmares that
make up their manes, tails, and feathers seem to have
a mind of their own, waving about through the air.
Nightmare's eyes are adapted to the dark and a very
light sensitive.
Nightmares can range anywhere from 5 to 12 inches
tall.
Nightmares do not tire as they live off of dreams.
As long as there's sleeping people, they will survive.
PERSONALITY AND TEMPERAMENT
Nightmares have cooler personalities and use their high
intelligence and lack of temper to live their lives of
nightmare inflicting. Seemingly cruel, they are insensitive
to pain and feeling.
Nightmares are often sought after by males
for their level of cunning.
MATING AND BREEDING
Nightmares mate for life with a Daydream.
Nightmares and Daydreams can only meet twice a year.
Once on the winter solstice, when the nightmares have the
most power and once on the summer solstice, when the
Daydreams have more power. They meet during dawn and
dusk, the only time where both moonlight and sunlight is present.
Nightmares produce one foal from a union with their Daydream.
