Sora nekos are what all of the felines of the world originate from, they are an ancient species, only recently discovered. They are much like the felines of today except that they defy the laws of science, like they can fly and unnatural phenomenon seem to happen around them, some classing it as 'magic'.

The common sora neko has long fur and their orbs which they keep safe at all costs. It is said if their orb is broken they will die. A leader of a clowder will either be a matriarch or a patriarch. The matriarchs and patriarchs of this species are easy to see, the females have ribbons and blossoms trailing from their fur, while the patriarchs have long ribbons with large bells.

Common sora nekos are forbidden from breeding, they do not have the privilege and it is seen as a great honor to be able to reproduce, only matriarchs and patriarchs may breed. Sora nekos are only able to breed for the first 12 years of their life, a year is a human month in the life of a sora neko, their lives stretching far beyond a normal humans capability though.

Sora nekos are a peaceful species, they adore company, are extremely finicky and love nothing better than to explore and discover beautiful things. They live in clowders but actually prefer the company of humans more than their own species, humans fascinating them, they enjoy watching and learning from them.

Extra: Stripez story and history...


Stripez was born in the summer of August, 2000, and she is now a teen. She has a mother and a father, and a little sister, Keelee. She is a very odd Neko, with her fur color kind of like a zebras and all. She collects rocks, and shes been intereted in them since her first favorite rock she found, nothing special in particular to anyone but her, it is round, grey and black, and smooth. Stripez does have a crush now.. but she doesnt like to tell anyone, because it embarrases her. She loves flying around scanning for rocks below her, and when shes stressed. WIP for now ^^

Personality: Strom is kind, quiet, and conscientious. He is a neko that can be depended on to follow through with things, Strom usually puts others and their needs before himself and his needs. He is extremely perceptive of other's feelings. Strom would help anyone, whether they be his enemy or a complete stranger to him, he just can't stand seeing anyone in distress. He is a very tidy neko and if he finds an area dirty he will take it upon himself to clean it. Strom likes to spend time by himself and keep to his thoughts while listening to the sounds around him. Storm at least once a day goes into the city and watches the humans converse with each other and go about their business. Where Strom sits isn't very calm and quiet, he sits above a café with the smells of coffee and pastries wafting up to him. The café is a busy place, Strom will sometimes choose a human to follow about until he either loses them or they go into a building. If they're interesting enough Strom will actually wait for them to come back out to follow them about again. He'll spend half of his day following about humans watching them from a distance and the other half going about cleaning things and keeping to himself, unless some other event arises, such as a neko needs help or a neko wants to talk to him.

Dezzo has always acted like a leader to the group, despite his horrible demeanor. Unfortunately, Dermot had looked up to him and made him a role model in his eyes. As the years passed, Dermot had grown a crush on Liani, but so had Dezzo, and Dezzo was rude, inappropriate, and abusing. Having enough of the cruelty the Neonis Cat was getting, Dermot stood up for Liani and called Dezzo out on his awful behavior. Now that Dezzo is no longer his father-figure, Dermot has felt more determined to make himself a leader to them... more than Dezzo ever was.
