"Eldemore is a place of beauty and majesty when part of it's continent is coming into spring. Especially the Oriental Isles, where their waters are crystal clear and the cherry blossoms bloom to cover the land in a soft pink blanket. This is also when the Cherry Blossom Elkrin begin to reappear as well, since they are rarely seen during the other seasons. They come in a variety of soft pastel colors and their beautiful pelts are alight with ornate designs and complimentary colors. This type of Elkrin is passive in nature and very family oriented. Many of the stags and does stay together in tight knit groups, rarely separating into other herds, and made up of grandfathers, grandmothers, aunts, uncles, siblings, etc. Sometimes their herds can range from 10-30 family members. What really sets these deer apart are the stags who sport large antlers with blossoms and petals decorating their prongs.The females love a male whose crown looks similar to that of a cherry blossom branch. To see them run while petals strewn about them is one of the many sights that draws enthusiasts to visit the isles during this time. Many riders who favor the gentle beasts as mounts travel far in hopes of one of the Cerry Blossom Elkrins choosing them to be their rider. They are quite slender in appearance and the Orientals value and cherish them each year by throwing a cherry blossom festival to celebrate spring and new life. It seems the festival is going on now as we speak! Excuse me while I go and try some of their famous peach tea. <3"

(Yes, after Admiral Zaal'Koris vas Qwib-Qwib. Because... pink and black, I couldn't figure out anything else XD)

Personality:
The Cherry Blossom stag is usually a gentle creature, having grown up surrounded by a whole host of family and showered with affection from the moment of birth. Koris, however, was not so lucky-- through some circumstance or another, before he was too young to really develop any memory of it, he was separated from his herd. This has led the young stag to develop a few... unusual traits, at least among his kind. He is skittish and quick to strike, having always had to watch out for and defend himself. He distrusts strangers, even other elkrin, but the innate social nature of his kind always pushes Koris to try and find friends whenever he can. More often than not, this ends... unpleasantly, and he is off to wandering alone again. On his better days, Koris is an intelligent individual, and always prefers diplomacy over violence, and when he puts in the effort, he's actually quite a good mediator. But he needs help to really unlock his full potential, someone who can give him the contact and stability he needs...

History:

There is an ancient order in Eldemore, brothers and sisters united under the cause of bringing peace and healing to the people of the world. One can find their establishments in cities all over the world, and more cloistered settlements in the remote locations of Eldemore. They provide aid to whoever requests it, however they can-- and sometimes, this includes taking in orphaned children.

No questions were asked when the woman in labor appeared to the Sisters of Alabaster City, they simply aided with her birth, asked if she was certain, and allowed her to leave once she was recovered. Asa, as they named the infant girl, was raised alongside nearly a dozen other children, all of whom she considered brothers and sisters like they were her own blood.

Asa took well to life in the monastery, helping with the daily tasks-- keeping things clean, fetching supplies or helping in the gardens... and, of course, tending to the Rune dragons. The Sisters of Alabaster City ran one of the largest breeding programs of Asari runes in that part of the world, both for their own acolytes and anyone who wished to keep one of the sweet creatures. It was no real surprise then, when Asa was ten and ran through the halls until she found the Matriarch, eagerly announcing that she had been tending the eggs when one hatched, and... well, it had bonded to her!

From then on, Asa was no longer just an orphan girl-- she was a true acolyte, and was all the happier for it. She is now traveling to other monasteries in Eldemore to expand her knowledge, and the most recent leg of her journey has brought her to the Orient Isles...

Personality:

A very gentle woman, some might say too gentle-- Asa abhors conflict, and rather than try to argue, she often just... bows and gives in to whatever someone else requires. She is a diligent worker, skilled in the healing arts and rather good with her hands, able to mend a fence as easily as a hole in fabric. Asa is still really learning about just... who she is, as an acolyte is expected to conform and be as similar to her brothers and sisters as possible while they are in training; it's only after they've proven themselves that they are allowed to roam and truly experience the world.

Effect of bond:

The physical effects are rather mild-- the only real sign would be pink and white markings like Koris' appearing on Asa's arms. However, Koris' influence will have a dramatic effect on her personality; Asa will become far more assertive and sure of herself, more at ease with speaking out and stepping in when she's needed. Koris reaps some benefits as well-- Asa and Amani's skill in healing, especially with the psychic link they can establish, will do wonders in helping keep the stag calm, and allow him to open up and become less of a nervous wreck.

Still a work in progress (I've been sick, and preparing to have lots of family over soon xD), but proof that I am over halfway done with a cross-stitch portrait of this lovely stag. So far, it's taken about 3-ish hours.

Unfortunately, this is about all I've been able to do, I didn't think things would become so hectic and draining this quickly D: But if I win, I'm... definitely finishing the cross stitch, first of all xD And I'll be sure to give Koris and Asa a good story, and I'd absolutely love to use them in any future Eldemore-based roleplays. ... definitely would work on getting some nice art of him, too <3

Quiet and graceful like the cherry blossom trees he so loves, Kiyoshi is a kind and gentle soul. He is not one to go out of his way simply to aggravate another, and is rather a peace-keeper. To new comers, he can come off as quite shy and reserved, and indeed he does often have a hard time adjusting to the company of others. Often he can be seen off on his own, with his favourite place to be being at the side of a cherry blossom tree, overlooking a pond. Kiyoshi treasures peace and tranquility, and he can often be seen seeking such places out. That's not to say, however, he completely despises the company of others. On the contrary, he quite enjoys the company of those he knows well, and can be in crowds without being completely uncomfortable. In fact, one of Kiyoshi's favourite activities is attending the Cherry Blossom Festival thrown each year. Laughter can often be heard at these festivals, expressing the joy and happiness of those there, and that is what Kiyoshi loves about them. More often than not, he can be seen flickering among the side lines of such events, never actually participating, but rather simply watching and listening. Kiyoshi is quite a perceptive Elkrin, and can often take in details many other may miss.

A patient being, Kiyoshi can often seem to have endless tolerance. It is rather hard to provoke him, and children in particular have a soft spot in his heart. Like many others of his kind, he values friendship and family immensely. Although once, a time ago, Kiyoshi did have such a family, he has since been on his own. He's also quite a sensitive creature, and truly dislikes change. Structure and consistency are important to him, and Kiyoshi often feels 'lost' without it. In addition to this, he is also quite sensitive to the emotions of others, and often comes across as quite empathetic. Along with his sensitivity, Kiyoshi is also quite cautious, and normally dislikes trying new things. He does not dive into situations, rather, he prefers to take a step back and analyze them, trying to find a helpful answer, that ideally avoids violence and harm. Kiyoshi prides himself on his intelligence and ability to quickly solve problems, and it is often that he uses this to his advantage. Creativity is another one of Kiyoshi's strengths, and he loves to view art in particular; whether they be found in nature, or drawn or painted on a canvas. Honest and loyal, Kiyoshi is also a friend that will stand by your side until the very end, never giving up on you, and never backing down from those he cares for. It is such characteristics that make him a ideal companion.

Spring revives what once was gone,
Welcoming warmth and bringing the dawn.
Bringing back life and a robin's song,
Heralding the return of both deer and fawn.

Refined and poised comes the wielder of spring,
Trotting purposefully forward as though he was king,
Antlers strewn with delicate blossoms in an endless ring,
Each hoof striking with a crystalline ting.

Story:
Two figures stood silhouetted against the hillside, watching as the sun slowly peaked above the horizon. A fragrant vortex of cherry blossom petals swirled around them, obscuring them from view. The soft light of dawn slowly streaked the sky with vibrant colours, illuminating the valley below. Amongst the swirling flowers, an elderly man tenderly placed his hand against the old Elkrin's nose, watching the sun rise, just as he did each and every morning. He had become stiff over the years as age had slowly claimed its place, and he succumbed to the touch that he had avoided for so long. His companion, the very one that had chased the age from both of them for years on end, had too had grown old now, his coat streaked grey with age. Yet, never once did he bow his head in resignation, and his eyes still shone with the youth that he had had the day the two had met. His old face cracking into a smile, he remembered the day he had met the magnificent stag, all those long years ago...

This is a mixture of the two latin words
MAgnus-meaning noble and SapienTIAM-meaning wisdom
I was looking for a name that incorporated the first words that came to mind as I looked at this elkrin, allot of words came up but Noble and Wise where those that stuck and also influenced his personality.

No, ageless and strong but a loner to the end. He and his rider two brothers forever and no place for girls to loosen the bonds between them created by love.

Personality:
Quiet as stars
Matiam is a quite entity that roams the woods and enjoys silence. For one of his species his personality may see strange but he found peace in stillness and listening to the forests whisper. Love and peace blooms beautiful inside this silence and makes him a caring and loving creature.
Fireflies and moonlight
Nocturnal can start to describe this beautiful Elkrin as he enjoys staying up some nights and looking at mean and night creatures. Fireflies are some of his favourite creatures as he find them beautiful and calming. Matiam doesn't really live in the dark but enjoys the chilling excitement the night skies fill him with.
Tall as redoak
Proud, strong and noble are the three words that describe him with such accuracy it's frightening. Matiam love the trees that file his home and started to adopt their attitude. He feels that trees are strong, trying not to bend to much when the wind pushes against them, proud because they stand tall and grow old in grace and noble because no matter how hard the humans try, they always do good, oxygen in life and warmth (fire) in death.
Skies cry life
Matiam has an obsession with the sky and anything with wings, wishing he was one of them able to soar through the sky and feel the winds rushing through his fur. To Matiam the sky holds secrets no one have discovered, things he could search for and happiness with no end.
Winds and secrets
As someone quiet Matiam tends to see things others don't notice and found some beautiful things and places he kept secret. Matiam runs with the winds searching for adventure and stories in the corners of the world only the wind can reach.

Skyder is practically the opposite of Matiam and has a crazy, fun and wild streek. He enjoys trouble and adventure always lloking for a good time and a challenge. While Matiam can be seen as the calm Skyder is definitely the storm. Even though they they're so different they are bonded at heart and seem to level each other out.
Looks:
Skyder was a tall and strong brown haired boy of 19 but his hair colour was influenced when he and Matiam bonded. Skyders hair changed from brown to black and the irises of his eyes changed to silver. Clothes is something that skyder isn't really very picky about and he can be seen in any types but he does have an under jacket he loves since it was made for him after he and Matiam bonded. The jacket has the same patterns that can be found on Matiam

Strory:
The skies where cold and practically roaring with colors as the sun bended around the earth to bring night to the patch of earth called Eldemore. Skyder was out in the woods gathering broken branches and loose bark to dry and use as firewood. Whistling echoed through the branches as he let a soft melody flow from his heart. It was a song that spoke of adventure and excitement and a young Elkrin stag could relate to the melody.

Picking up a bunch of branches that lay between two large trees as a shadow kept the moonlight from lighting the ground in front of him. The whistling stopped abruptly as Skyder turned around. Shock filled his eyes and pushed him backwards and into a tree trunk. A large shape stood before him antlers filled with rose colored blossoms and pelt dark as the night sky.

Slowly Skyder lifted himself up to stand faced with a magical beast staring down at him. He knew of the creature and tales of them where common in his town. Is was called an Elkrin, a cherry Blossom stag to be precise and it was amazing. The stories couldn’t begin to compare with the creature that stood before him.

The Elkren glanced up at the stars wisdom filling every inch of its gaze. It then looked at Skyder again waiting slowly nodding its head as to ask for more. More of what Skyder didn’t quite understand so he stood gazing into endless eyes until he understood. Softly Skyder started to whisper the night skies and birds echoing his melody. When the song was done the Elkrin still stood looking at the boy and deciding he was worthy bowed down.

Shock covered every inch of Skyders face as he blinked towards the creature. “Matiam” Skyder said as his awareness returned and he bowed at the Stag .

Matium chose a rider. A rider who was so different from him that they where alike. Adventure called to them both and they both decided to answer. Together as brothers, worriers and friends. Wherever they go a melody will follow, Skyder whistling into the wind and Maxiam glancing up into the sky hearing the heavens call.
