What is a Glowsprite?
Glowsprite's full species name is Glowsprite Cleroscribe (GC). They are solitary animals, and generally live in dark, damp caves with deep bodies of water. However, they have no gills, but can hold their breath for ten minutes maximum. They do have webbed feet though, and insulation fur that keeps them warm in cold waters. They use their antennas to navigate dark caves, and eight eyes, four on each side, to help them succeed in navigating the dark caverns. They are omnivorous creatures, but individual Glowsprites can have a preference for just meat, just vegetables, fruit, or insects.
Glowsprites normally have a dark base colour, with a soft, yet bright 'accent' colour on their antenna, and the soft delicate skin that loosely surround the tail that starts at the base. These large, great dane sized animals are long-lived, the average life expectancy being 40-60 years. But there have been recorded records of some that have lived over 70 years.
