Eclipse desires something he know he'll never get. Popularity. Eclipse has social anxiety, and often gets shaky when talking to people, stuttering and quickly avoiding the conversation and sitting to the side. He always wanted to have a big group of friends and be known about by all the Kalons he lives in his village with. But, his closest friend is a potato he puts on his window sill and vents out about his life to. He always liked the thought of walking down the paved roads of the village with close friends by his side, and hopes one day he can get close friends who will hang out with him despite being quite an introvert, and tries each day to get better, but for now its a distant fantasy.

What do they desire, but cannot obtain?
It might sound pretty cheesy, but Bay-Yi desires freedom more than anything else. Being born in a high-class Chinese family (part of the Seven Dragons, the elite owners of big companies in his region), Bay-Yi is essentially trapped with his future already set out for him. He is the eldest child of his parents, favored by his grandparents, and he simply knows he's going to inherit the family company. He even loves business, aiming for a scholarship for a university in Beijing. 

Bay-Yi's internal conflict mainly comes from the fact that he feels like he doesn't deserve all the grand positions he could have. He feels like the only reason he has his scholarship is because his parents were able to afford his education in the first place. His dream is to open up his own start-up company instead, free from the shackles of his family, and create jobs for individuals he knows deserve better and simply didn't have the fortune of being born as privileged as himself. He wants to start charities and donate, but he wants that money to truly be from himself, not his family company.

In the end, he wants is to make a real change.

"Did you get it yet?" Jacob asked, peering over the haunched shoulders of his friend who sat curled around the lock, engulphed in its secrets.
"No," Arthur whispered, focused on the metal contraption.
Jacob paced anxiously. The guards would come soon. "Now?"
With a clank the lock tumbled to the ground. Arthur smirked, and they pushed through the gate.
"There it is," he sighed, staring at the speckled egg which sat delicately atop a nest. "Quickly!" He barked, and they ran with their heads lowered, glancing around frantically, waiting for the guards to fall upon them.

Aruthur envisioned it now. From the egg would hatch a legendary dragon, the most powerful in the whole kingdom. As much as Arthur wanted the dragon for his own companion, he wanted the king not to have it even more. If the crown got it, the village would crumble beneath his power.

Just as it's glistening shell was in reach, a booming voice cried "Stop! Thieves!"
A horde of guards chased the boys as they had no choice but to flee, another day unable to achieve their prize. But at least the guards too would not obtain theirs. They could never catch them!

Erin has been alone for, as long as she can remember. Every day, of every week, month and year. She'd wander around, trying to meet new people, to end up failing in the end. The only thing she has are the ghost of voices passed, a small stuffed toy, and a place to call home. On most days, Erin would go up to others, put on a happy face and introduce herself. "Hello there, my name is Erin! What's yours?" On a lucky day, she'd get a name, but never a friend. She watches as people smile and dance and play with each other, longing for this kind of interaction. She desperately desires company. A friend or even, a family.

After a long day of trying, she heads up to her room and looks up to the moon, hoping that when the morning comes, someone, anyone would make an attempt to be company to her.
