Gender: Male.

Personality: Calm, calculating, fearful. These
are three words used to describe him. When he was
still alive, human more or less, he was kind, caring
and usually put others before him, no matter how
much trouble he'd get into.
Now, ever since being cursed, his personality warped.
He is cruel, sadistic, uncaring and rude. His old
personality breaks out at times, mostly when his
Shadow is not around.

Why do they do Voodoo: Kouto, in truth, is dead.
When he was young, late teens, his family, mother,
father and baby brother, had died in a car accident.
He was a complete wreck. His shadow, Nora, had been
whispering to him darkly, telling him of voodoo, that he
could bring them back. Kouto had told Nora to leave him
alone yet it really was no use. He eventually caved in due
to grief and depression. It took him years of research, of
gathering ingredients.
Yet, it was in vain. He went to the cemetery, where they
were buried together and started. Each movement had made
him feel heavier, his eyes had grown dark. In Kouto's attempt
to bring his family back, his cursed himself with death and
life. He was stuck in the divide between the far shore and
the near shore, forever wandering and never being able to
find peace.

name: Aaron- meaning enlightened
gender: Male
personality: Aaron starts as a naive child, taking risks and trying desperately to be the cool kid (but with many repercussions) before turning into a mature young man with many regrets trying to fix the many mistakes he made as a child.
shadows name: Adrien
why do they do voodoo?: It started with a crush. There was nothing particularly special about her, but just the same Aaron liked her which at the time was interpreted as love. Whether or not it was actually love has remained, and will remain, a mystery.

Aaron was not particularly special either. He wasn't in any group, mainly sitting as your average joe. In an attempt to become popular, and impress the girl, he took up voodoo mostly as a party trick. He quickly made his way into the popular group, but as the carpet kid. He was used by the populars to do their dirty work, mostly consisting of scaring those that betrayed them, but still it had it's adverse effects.

His joints began to wear down, as use of magic usually does to those who aren't prepared properly, and slowly he began to get weaker. In a terrible accident, involving a candle fire that got out of hand, his victims house got burnt down. No one in their family was killed, and neither were they, but they left for the hospital in an ambulance covered in terrible burns. As a result of the unrestrained magic, his eye slowly began to pop out of its socket throughout the next few days. Using much of his energy to subtly ease their pain, the magic took and unforeseen turn. The side of his mouth stitched closed as a signal of taking back his words, and his eye was stitch closed to be used not for physical sight but foresight.

He now wears a cape to hide his face, and uses voodoo close to never despite having become skilled at it.
