yannae is highly selective of whom she loves. if you're lucky enough to be her friend, she'll shower you with love, gifts, and the likes. however, she can be very overprotective, and it can be a bit annoying to be constantly followed around and babied by her.
sometimes, though, her loyalty can be a bit of a problem, and she will indeed lie, cheat, and steal for her close ones, even if she has no bad intentions. once forming a bond with someone, yannae will trust them with her life, and will often result in her being backstabbed.

yannae looves the supernatural and good stories. luckily, accalia has just that! accalia loves having someone listen to her vibrant stories of hunting down spirits and the likes, while yannae loves listening to the farfetched taled, envisioning bright, action-packed thrillers.
accalia's fine with telling yannae about her and her father's trips, because yannae doesn't believe a word of them. she belives that she just makes them up on the spot, and accalia never tells her that the stories are actually true (well, most of them.)
plus, accalia gets a ton of attention and is spoilt rotten with gifts from yannae. she'll often return from visits to yannae's with a lollipop in her mouth or more than a few chocolates in her pocket. accalia isn't often treated like this, so she really enjoys it.
the two met, surprisingly, at a pokemon card tournament, despite yannae's intense hatred of large crowds. nerddDDS one of yannae's friends had convinced her to see them perform, and she did so, rather begrudgingly. after spotting accalia's brightly glowing feathers, she went after her, fascinated with the flourescent quills. after discussing and finding equal interest of the supernatural over coffee, they soon bonded and are friends to this day.

A little about me

I am an avid character collector who has been watching Plumerians since they were first posted. It was a long time before I found a Plumie I really wanted to try out for, and I eventually managed to win two runner ups. I have decided to try out for Yannae because her colours are so gorgeous, and her markings are just wonderful too. I love spots and stars, and she has plenty of both. The way I have envisioned her, she is the perfect balance between my other Plumies, one of whom is quiet and the other excitedly loud.

I currently own two Plumies, Skyleth and Brightwing. Skyleth was my first Plumie, and I have tried to take good care of him. I set up a page on my character site for him and have been creating and buying art for him. I have been working on a digital painting of him over the past few months and it is nearly finished, which is very exciting for me as it's a new art style I'm trying out. Brightwing is my newest Plumie, I acquired her last month so she has yet to gather as big a collection of art as Skyleth, but she will get there. My future plans are to set up a site purely for my closed species so I can have more room to detail their personalities, likes and dislikes, and relationships with each other. I want to concentrate more on writing for them as well as collecting art.

Yannae is a quiet Plumerian who has a great appreciation for the arts. She loves reading, writing, poetry, painting and scrapbooking. She is particularly passionate about bright colours and fantasy themes. Her favourite animal is the unicorn. Good luck telling her that unicorns don't exist, because she won't hear of it!

Yann has a soft voice that is beautiful for singing, and has good pronunciation despite having a slight lisp as a child. Sometimes because of her quiet voice she can be misheard, and is often too shy to correct others. This has led to interesting moments such as being brought a different meal to what she was hoping for, agreeing to go to social gatherings she has tried to decline, and even being called the wrong name. To this day, her friend Brightwing thinks her name is Yenn.

Yann's favourite activity depends on the weather. She loves to spend sunny days in the garden, sharing a picnic with her friends and family. When it rains she prefers to curl up under a blanket with a mug of warm cocoa and good book to read, pausing between chapters to listen to the rain and watch it out the window.

RELATIONSHIP

Yann's loudest friend may be Brightwing, but her best friend is her neighbour Skyleth. Skyleth is a soft, gentle, kind Plumie who takes good care of his friends. He and Yann share a lot in common, both enjoying reading and art.

Skyleth is the one Plumie that Yann shows her stories, poetry and artwork too. Every week the pair meet up to share their creations and talk about what books they have been reading. They drink warm cocoa in the winter and refreshing fizzy drinks in the summer. Sometimes they work on crafts together, making scrapbook pages of their adventures, composing poems about their favourite things, and painting canvases with fantastic scenes of mythical creatures, fairy gardens and other enchanting scenes they both enjoy imagining.

Yann can be shy about showing her creations to others, so her friendship with Skyleth is very important to her. She loves that she has a friend who shares some of her interests, and treasures the time they spend together. She doesn't feel anxious when going out and meeting new people as long as she has friends like Skyleth with her.

FAVOURITE BOOK

Yann's favourite book is Dragonquest by Anne McCaffrey. Fantasy is her favourite genre when it comes to books, and none please her more than Anne McCaffrey's dragons of Pern books. Yann loves dreaming about dragons, unicorns and other mythical creatures. While Dragonquest has no unicorns in it, it has plenty of dragons, and lots of wonderful characters that live in a world she finds truly fascinating.

Her favourite characters are F'nor and Brekke, and she loves the part in Dragonquest when they reveal their feelings for each other. Yann is a romantic at heart, so she was incredibly pleased when her favourite characters finally admitted they were in love. She also enjoys a good thrill, and the part near the end where F'nor and his dragon risk their lives to travel to the Red Star made her hold her breath in anticipation of what would happen next. Would they survive? Yann would be so distraught if one of her favourite characters died.

Yann easily attaches to story characters, and always cries when one is badly hurt or dies. For this reason, her friends have never let her read Bambi, because they think it will upset her too much!

Colour

Yann's favourite colour is Pink, especially lighter pink.
The colour reminds her of the dresses little fairies wore in the storybooks she grew up reading.

Game

Yann's favourite casual game is Quell.
The delicate art, calm music and interesting puzzles are perfect for a rainy day.

Memory

One of her favourite memories is lying in bed as a small Plumie one rainy evening.
Her mother was there reading her a storybook about pixies that lived in a garden.
She loved the book especially because one of her sisters gave it to her.

Letter

The letter 'O' is her favourite because it is a circle, and circles are her favourite shape.

Number

The number '8' is her favourite because it contains two circles. Yann really likes circles.

Shape

Yann really likes octagons, but her favourite shape will always be the circle.
She especially likes the circle markings on ladybugs and toadstools.

Season

Spring is Yann's favourite season. Fresh grass, new flowers, and baby animals!
It is the most beautiful and happy of all seasons.

Animal

Yann likes all animals, but if she had to pick, she would probably choose a cat.
They are soft and fluffy, very cute, and happy to lie quietly on her lap while she reads.
Nothing makes her feel happier than having a purring cat sitting with her.

Bug

Ladybug of course! Yann once found a ladybug that was a more pinkish colour instead of red.
She wanted to keep her, but the ladybug was happier outside so Yann let her fly away.

Mythical Beast

Yann loves unicorns the most, no question.
She imagines them to be beautiful white horses with shiny horns and soft rainbow colours on their legs and tail. She often paints them, they are one of her favourite subjects.

Food

Yann loves to cook. Her favourite sweet food are Macaroons.
Her favourite savoury dish would be BBQ chicken.
Yann's cooking is so good that her friends often invite themselves over so they can share her meals!

Drink

Cocoa. Yann loves drinking warm cocoa out of a festive mug while she reads.

Chore

Cooking meals is Yann's favourite chore. She often cooks for others as well.
Since her neighbour Skyleth enjoys laundry, he often pops over to do her laundry while she cooks a nice meal for him.
