Learning to skate? Tachetée has a natural born talent for ice skating. He didn't fall once on his first try, and even figured out how to go backwards.
Warm up nourishment: Tachetée warms himself with the sweet, citrusy, spiced drink of wassail, drinking it after any cold outing.
Quip query: Horizontal quipping down his side, with wiping on his back legs.

Learning to skate? He's confused why his hooves slip and slide and legs not staying under him. As of yet, he does not enjoy having no control over his body and that it hurts to fall on the ice. When another equid comes up behind and pushes him, he let's out a loud whinny of terror and tries to bite them, but falls over in the process just getting laughed at. So, ice skating is more like butt scooting to get to the other side.
Warm up nourishment: Since he's half domestic, pumpkin spice or eggnog flavored hot chocolate with good ol' simple chocolate chip cookies; he does love cherry danishes too though. When he's out and about in the wild, he tries to find a hot spring for relaxation, and eats the steamed grass along the bank.
Quip query: This but not as heavy, and faded like this, and multi-colored. Color of quip, something that pops out but still compliments his coat.

Learning to skate? Being born in a harsh winter and nearly starving to death, Tiberius hates everything and anything related to the cold, and ice skating is part of the category. It's completely pointless. Why would you go outside in the freezing winter just to dawdle on an icy platform, where one simple mistake might send you crashing through the ice? Tiberius believes ice skating is suicidal, and wants nothing to do with it.
Warm up nourishment: Tiberius is obsessed with hot chocolate. Who wouldn't want to curl up with a mug of steaming, chocolatey goodness on a boring winter day? Unfortunately, he's allergic to chocolate.
Quip query: I'm thinking of some black and white minimal quip, particularly on the legs and neck

Learning to skate? Actually, Gantalore is a bit unsure about learning to ice-skate. He sure is fascinated by the sport focused solely on contact the cold ice, but whenever he starts learning something new, he feels dumb for not being good at it yet. He will eventually learn it, though.
Warm up nourishment: Usually, when he comes back inside, he eats fresh, hot pancakes and drinks either hot cocoa or hot tea (peppermint or chery). After that, he cuddles into some blankets and watches christmas movies.
Quip query: I would like to see either (beaded) necklace quip, laced quip or filled quip, or a combination of the three.

Learning to skate? During the winter months the pond in Zephyr's paddock freezes solid. As soon as it does the three children that live in the farmhouse will always bring out their skates and spend their days dancing and sliding on the ice with great enjoyment. He dreams of being able to join in the fun, but he tried to stand on the slippery surface once which resulted in him falling in a heap and straining his knee, which left him hobbling around for weeks. So now he has given up trying, and instead will watch the children all day, sliding around effortlessly as if they were flying. Sometimes the children will strap him in his harness and tie a long rope to it, then he will run along the length of the edge of the pond pulling them behind them on their skates, while they squeal and giggle with joy. He gets great enjoyment out of this, however he still wishes it was possible to skate with the children and be able to fly across the icy surface as if he was flying.
Warm up nourishment: Once Zephyr gets tired after pulling the children around on their skates, they will always take him back to his stable and feed him his favourite treat - warm bran mash with pieces of candy cane mixed throughout. He believes that it is the most incredible taste in the world and he loves the feeling of the hot, sticky substance trickling down his throat and warming him from the inside out. The crunchy peppermint pieces add a great flavour to the already delicious meal, and he loves crunching them between his teeth. He only gets treated to this extra special meal during the cold months, because the children don't want him to get fat off all the candy, though Zephyr doesn't mind because it gives him a great reason to look forward to the cold festive season.
Quip query: Fading multi-colour quipping, similar to this in different shades of darker grey and perhaps a light cream/palomino? Only minimal quipping - only along his back with a little bit on his cheeks, below his eyes :3

Learning to skate? Oaky is a bit on edge about it. He thinks it sounds fun, and he's decided to put it on his bucket list of things he wants to but will never do. While it's adventurous, exciting, cool, and in the spirit of winter... it sounds dangerous. One would have to use sharp edged shoes on ice, and considering that they're sharp he'd imaging they'd cut through the ice and he'd fall into the freezing water. The day he skates is the day he signs his will.
Warm up nourishment: He's always been a bit of a girl when it comes to beverages of any sort. When he's cold, he likes to warm up with some hot spiced cider. When he's asked, though, he'll probably say he likes heavy coffee. It's cider, though. Always cider.
Quip query: Dark, medium-thick quipping with soft edges. Blotty maybe, but smooth coursing.

Learning to skate? Murdoc would love to learn to skate. He is semi-domestic and has befriended a young human boy from a village down the mountainside. In the winter, the children all take their skates to the frozen freshwater lake and glide effortlessly over the icey surface. Murdoc stands age the edge and watches them. He would love to be able to join them but he never does. Murdoc has a fear of swimming and he is terrified the ive would crack beneath his feet.
Warm up nourishment: Murdoc loves a hot bran mash with sticky rolled oats on the side. He also has a certain penchant for hard liquor and enjoys a spot of Bourbon, Irish Whisky or Scotch. Something to really warm the back of his throat!
Quip query: Something sort like this almost that fades towards the shoulder? Colour...perhaps a darker shade of grey that compliments his coat well?
