Insomnia Cure: He had an old projector he kept up in the attic, and for many years he forgot that it was up there. He'd been having trouble sleeping for a few weeks when, by random chance, he stumbled across it while trying to find an old photo album. It was covered in dust, and when he blew it away, some of it got caught in a beam of light coming through the porthole window. To him it looked like little flecks of gold, dancing in the air, like it was magical. This made him bring the projector down, along with the slides he found with it. That night when, once again he couldn't sleep, he decided to try it out. Wrapped up in a blanket and sitting on a pillow, he set it up on the rug in the living room. He chose a random slide and slipped it in, and while he was initially surprised that it worked, he was more so amazed to see his ceiling turn into a galaxy. The slide was a picture of the stars, full of white specks and constellations and other beautiful colours. He lay down on the floor, resting his head on the pillow, and stared up at this tiny piece of space, floating above his head in the living room. As his eyes wandered over the stars, trying to find constellations and making a few up as he went along, he realized that his eyelids were beginning to grow heavy. For the first time in a month he found that falling asleep was easy. With his eyes full of stars and head full of wonder, he believed this was the most wonderful sleep remedy he could have found.
