“you’re doing it again louis.” his brother rolled his eyes and then disappeared into the footstool.

“doing what?!” louis exclaimed catching henry’s eyes as he floated in the air.

“you’re shutting things out and your never gonna let them back in unless you want to! c’mon man i told you this enough while i was alive it seems like you should know by now! you’re still doing it and i’m a ghost, that’s how long it’s been happening.”

henry’s been making that joke every opportunity possible since he found out he was granted ghaunting time and found louis. he’s also always called rowan his middle name, louis, despite the loud of a sigh it guaranteed from their family every time he said it.

rowan stared past his brother, although he didn’t really need to since he was partially transparent, and looked out the window behind henry to where he saw a fast moving river below them; it had rained all of last night. dense trees clotted with vines extended in all directions, louis could even see the tops of some of the shortest trees when he was up on the roof. the forest and the river were the only ways henry ever found his brother again, louis had found a place just like the song they had always listened to. louis had been on a mission to find his brother after his disappearance, but following the news of henry’s death he left his remaining family and built the treehouse of their dreams in brazil. when henry showed up louis slammed the door in his face. he swore he was imagining it. his brother? granted ghaunting time? when louis opened it henry smiled and asked, “did the bear take the cars?”

Michael padded over to the corner of his room, where he kept all of his books. He peered up at his bookshelf and scanned the titles. Charlotte’s Web- too sad. 101 Dalmatians- too long. His eyes drifted to a small, worn book on the end. Peter Pan. Perfect. Micheal carefully reached up and slid it out of the shelf. Settling down into a bean bag, he opened it. the sweet aroma of old books wafted out from the pages and he began to read:

"All children, except one, grow up. They soon know that they will grow up, and the way Wendy knew was this. One day when she was two years old she was playing in a garden, and she..."

The familiar words comforted Micheal, letting him escape into the wondrous world of Neverland. He could feel the wind whipping past his fur, could see the vast expanse of the city of London beneath him, and if he concentrated hard enough, he could hear the sweet chimes of Tinker Belle. He was soaring through the sky, free as a bird. He looked up at the sky and fixed his gaze on a star- second one to the right. Hours came and went as Micheal continued to read. In his mind’s eye, he was getting to closer and closer to his destination when- there it was! Neverland! He descended downwards, seeing the island grow bigger and bigger as he approached. He was so enthralled by the feeling of flying that he almost didn’t realize he was nearly on the ground, starting a bit when his paws met soft grass. He was about to call out for Peter when-

“MICHEAL! Dinner!”

Micheal sighed. “Coming!” he called. Gently, he shut the book. Neverland would just have to wait a little while longer.

But Eridanus then learned the true reason behind the war, not the lies his parents fed him: the stars have stolen the light of the heavens. He defects from the army and the land of the ‘light’, and in defiance of his parents wrapped shadows around himself and sought to right their wrong. Now under attack from both angels and constellations, he flees, but along the way stumbles onto a group of outcasts, and together they plan to steal back the light.

Yet their actions failed, and now the war has intensified as the constellations believe the angels were trying to steal from them. And now, the war taking a great toll on all involved, the group decides to stand up, Eridanus leading the fight.
