As the feathery furred kalon yanked the goblet from their lips, they let out a happy and loud sigh, a laugh following as they enjoyed the glorious festival. It was in full swing, and the kalon was deeply committed to seeing it through from beginning to end. Their cheeks were flushed and a wide grin was plastered on their face as they sat with a friends, but more strangers, at a large wooden table. All around them swirled delicious scents of cooking meat and dazzling outfits and just darling music that seemed to play from everywhere.
They let out a drunken guffaw as they hugged a petite brown female by their side. She had little presence at the table and was just sitting quietly, drinking to herself, though the blue haired kalon seemed to enjoy her attention quite a bit. The owl looking kalon enjoyed themselves thoroughly, salivating over the delicious meats brought to the table, and eventually getting the tiny deer-like female to dance with them to the jovial music.
All the while, the world around them grew a little darker, the candle light turning the faire into a bright orange blaze of happiness. Together, the kalon and their new and old friends celebrated the coming of the autumn season amongst the fluttering flame colored leaves, mouth wateringly sweet apples, and vibrant pumpkins lit with unscented candles. They celebrated the harvest, and the coming of winter, and they even sang about the coming spring that seemed far away at that point. The fall festival revered the death of the earth, honored the coming dormant state, and idolized the soon to follow blossoming of their beloved landscape. The kalon, and friends, unknowingly commemorated the circle of life, and followed with their own lives.
