Short Story
Featuring Jarvan

As the smaller Cheesedoodle silently watched the older, bigger one pace, she sighed deeply drawing the unwanted attention to her.
"Well?" he snapped, eyes narrowing as he approached her, smiling as she hunkered down, her shaking obvious. "Speak." he all but snarled, grey eyes sparkling, offset by his black sclera.

"A...As I said... I don't... I don't have any clue where the item is.." she whimpered, eyes closed tightly as his snarl reached her ears. He hit her with one glowing paw causing her to hit her head against the wall.

"You've seen it, I know you have." his smile grew... an evil air radiating off of him. "You." he snapped to one of the black hooded figures behind him. "Tie her up, bring her with us. She will spill the information she has... Or she won't. Either way she won't be... with us long."

Marcella bolted up from her deep sleep, panting, hair standing on end, ready to attack anything in her path. Her friend and fellow inmate Rodolfo stirred next to her but stayed peacefully asleep. Thanking her lucky stars that he stayed that way she sat up and went to get some water, eyes blurry with sleep, head pounding. That had been a nightmare she hadnt had... hadn't *lived* in a long time... What brought it on now? What brought on the thoughts of her captivity of all ti- ... today... Today was the anniversary of her escape... The day she gained her freedom.

He was still out there. Waiting for her to come back. Waiting to punish his runaway children... And the thought chilled her to the bone. Snuggling back up to Rodolfo minutes later the beautiful Cheesedoodle lay awake jumping at every sound until morning came.
