Masato tries his hardest to be someone's hero. It doesn't matter what he has to do to cheer someone up - no matter what, he'll make it his goal to brighten up someone's day. By doing it the legal way, of course - Masato never breaks the law (unless he's tricked into doing so). He's extremely gullible, and will fall for even the stupidest of tricks. However, it's impossible to get mad at this loveable little fella. He's too sweet to everyone, and tries his hardest to right his wrongs. He's goofy, in the sense that he'll crack jokes and make stupid puns at every given moment. However, this oftentimes is viewed as annoying, so when he gets that playful little glint in his eye, others will flee to get away from his corny jokes. Masato also is sensitive; although he tries not to let it, this side usually shows when you've hurt his feelings, even in the slightest. All in all, he's just an average guy trying to be someone's hero.

with Phantom - Masato looks to Phantom as his best friend. He enjoys her company most of all, and likes hanging out with her on lazy afternoons. Although he likes her a lot, he still views her as his little sister, and probably isn't interested in a relationship with her.
with Sketchbook - She's...quirky. Masato is a bit confused as to why she hates the color green so much (especially when she has it on her pelt), but tries to be friends with her anyways. Of course, he NEVER brings up the aforementioned color in a conversation. It seems to be a trigger to her, and he doesn't want her to get mad. She's scary when she's mad.
with Veronica - He's terrified of her. Masato knows there once was a sweet girl underneath this psycho's alarming exterior, but he knows for certain that she's gone now. She especially creeps him out because she keeps flirting with him in the most sadistic, scary ways possible.
with Rowitz - Personally, Masato finds Rowitz adorable... In a brotherly way. He's not looking for a relationship just yet. Masato likes defending Rowitz from the terrifying girls that he lives with, mainly because Rowitz views Masa as his hero. Seeing as he's now accomplished his dream of being somebody's hero, Masato has made it his goal to protect Rowitz, no matter what the cost.
