Use- Felony is a school horse a a somewhat run-down riding stable for handicapped children. His quiet, soft temperament and willingness to be patient with any child has made him the farm favorite with both the instructors as well as the kids. He gets fed sweets and carrots each day by his admirers (perhaps too many), and he also loves to stand and be stroked and brushed by the small, timid hands. His stocky conformation is also a huge bonus to the children, because it is easier for the bigger kids to stay on his back. No child has ever fallen off of his back, another reason he is a favorite. This is partially due to his age, and is therefore more reliable, more well-trained, less jumpy, and more experienced than many of the other school horses. Some of the children can't pronounce his name, so oftentimes he will be nicknamed "Felly" or "Lenny". Felony's past is somewhat mysterious: he was purchased by an elderly woman at an auction with no records or papers. The lady named him "Phineas" after her old dog companion, and "Felonious" because of his "wanted" history. He was finally gifted to the riding center when she could no longer feed or care for the aging horse, and he has been pampered ever since. Felony certainly ended up in a place to create sweet memories for children who need them and to have a happy ending of his own.
