Zoo City is the hub of the furry world. Home to a population of a whopping three million, it's immaculately kept streets is home to many individuals and families alike. Whether you were born within their boundaries, or simply moving in, you are welcome here. Take a walk outside, meet the colourful residents, go shopping for whatever! adopt rules
-- Every user is allowed one free founder! They must request a founder and make their storage before adopting!
-- You must have a storage for your furs! It can be on a single post in a general storage, have it's own, or even be a website!
-- You may own as many furs as your level permits! If you win an adopt and do not have space, tell the artist so it can be rejudged.
-- Co-Ownership is not permitted here! This is more so to prevent future headaches and disputes, sorry!
-- You can use your fur outside of CS so long as you *credit* the artist who created it!
-- You can make your fur your sona!
-- If you receive a fur through a free adopt, you may not sell it. Sold adopts can only be sold for what they were bought for.
-- You can trade your furs for other furs or even other adopts! Just not for closed species.
--- The recipient of the trade has to have a storage thread and a founder to be able to keep it.
-- Refunds are not accepted for paid adopts.
-- Roleplaying is strongly encouraged! Wanna be rewarded for it? Try the official roleplay!
-- Want to transfer an owned design? Check how the artist feels about it here!
-- Be kind, respectful, and accepting to the members of this community! Acting out and being rude can be met with mutes*.
-- Don't rush artists to judge their adopts or to put them out. Same goes to begging or asking for breedings or customs.
-- Do not add edits to your owned furs traits, such as hair, eye colours, etc. You can add accessories, though!
-- Make sure to post on the Archive Updater about ownership changes of furs.
-- Re-adoptions may be requested to me so that I can carry out the new competition myself.
-- Zoo City's administrative staff reserves the rights to rehome furs at our discretion if the former rules are broken.

the consequences
-- *Mutes: Unable to speak in or join the discord, post on the fanclub, or partake in roleplays. You can do prompts and try for adopts, but you cannot interact with others until the mute expires. These are NEVER permanent!
-- Bans: Generally goes hand in hand with rehoming. You will be unable to further interact with our community or adopt new furs.
-- Rehomings: Your furs are revoked and rehomed.

artist rules
-- Must make three adopts per month to be eligible for a monthly staff custom.
-- Inform me of absences so that you aren't booted for inactivity.
-- More than 70% of your adopts should be free. Paid adopts can only be for C$, pets, or art for now!
-- Normal adopts may be any real life species of animal! Just no mythical creatures or hybrids!
--- Hybrid adopts are the mixing of two to three different animals. These are reserved for 10's (10, 20, 30, 40, 60...etc.).
-- 50's and 100's (50, 100, 150, 200, 250...etc.) are to not be made without consulting me. Who makes the current one will be discussed and is a right passed between everyone!
-- You get one free hire MYO for a mythical creature OR a mythical power! You can choose only one of the two.

-- Wait patiently for it to be done! If someone as claimed it and not done it in more than a month, message me!

step two - create your apartment!
-- What is your apartment? It's where all of your furs will live!
-- It doesn't have to be an apartment, it can be a neighborhood, a villa, etc. It's just gotta be a place for fur's live in a similar fashion within Zoo City.

-- Once done, register it here in order for it to be recognized.

step three - leveling!
-- To level up you'll need to fulfill the requirements set for each one.
-- At this point you'll have already met the standard and be able to enter level one!

-- You have to level up in order to get more slots to own more furs. So if you're hankering for a full roster, get to writing!

step four - EXP!
-- EXP is earned from participating in the community and developing your town.
-- Prompts are good for developing your town and furs! It's the usual way to go!
-- But maybe you want to roleplay? Try that out [here] and interact with other furs in Zoo City! Each posts earns EXP ig you write at least 100 words!

step five - Coins!!
-- Coins are used to buy things from shops!

-- All of your furs can have a job, but you can only have three work per day!
-- Lastly, raffles are held on discord to get free coins and items as well as some games. Be sure to join that for the extra chance!
