✦ ❝ ryugi dragons are a recently discovered species. they are a mix of reptile and mammal, giving life birth but being cold-blooded. they have to raise their body temperature with outside sources, like basking in the sun or laying on something warm, like a heated up rock or their human friends. this is also the reason as to why ryugis are very rarely seen in cold areas. they are omnivorous and can digest most food humans eat, aside from very spiced dishes. if you give them a warm place to cuddle up in they are very easy to care for! ❞

general rules & guidelines
for the staff rules & guidelines please have a look at the third post on this thread!

1. all of Tess' rules apply, naturally!

2. you may not trade your ryugis for anything other than directly ryugi-related stuff. this means you may only trade ryugis for ryugis, ryugis for ryugi items of any kind, ryugis for ryugi-currency. please read the rules of the trading forum before you decide to trade your ryugis!

3. claiming another person's ryugi as your own is strictly prohibited and will always end in at least a month's ban.

4. ryugis are a closed species, which means you may not make your own unless you obtain an MYO ticket!

5. tranfers in and out of the species have to be discussed with and approved by the owner first!

6. you do not have to take part in any species activities if you don't want to.

7. ryugi dragons may be drawn in feral, anthro and human form. they may not be drawn as- or featuring parts of a different species or animal. Exceptions are if the parts are removable, if they wear a removable costume, if they have the chimera gene or if it is part of a prompt.

8. if you are visiting another ryugi based thread of any kind please make sure you properly read it's rules and guidelines as they may give you important information that is not being mentioned here.

9. please do not mini-mod on any official Ryugi threads! you may report a user to a ryugi mod if any of our species rules are being violated. if any of chickensmoothies rules are being violated, please report the user(s) in question to an official chickensmoothie moderator!

10. you may not edit your ryugi's reference picture. you may color this picture in to make a separate picture where you can add accessoires, however, editing the lines of your ryugi without proof that you own the appropriate item(s) and without proof of a ryugi mod's permission is strictly prohibited!

11. you must always have an updated gender, breeding slots and edit list on your ryugi's official reference page.

12. due to the amount of work it would be to keep track of everyone's items you need to keep track of them yourself! this means you should save a link to the post you obtained the item in, for each individual item! if you cannot show us prove that you own an item then you sadly may not use it until you got that prove.

13. items will be discarded after first use, they can only be used once per individual item!

the ryugi's body is fused with an object (ex. glass body parts, crystal growth). a fusion is only possible with one object per edit item!

body morphing
is this ryugi even real?!

a part of the ryugi's body has morphed into a different shape! have you ever seen a mer ryugi? or perhaps a ryugi with fins? well, now you at least know that they exist!

creation - - off-limits

the creation gene is an extremely rare occurance. ryugis with this gene will roll for all of the available genes at once when being bred, regardless of which genes they have. the odds of inheriting each gene are cut in half as well! ryugis with this gene will only be released on very special occasions!

2. a user can have up to two strikes at a time. if they receive another strike, they will be banned. only I can issue out bans and their details, so please inform me if someone has accuired their third strike!
3. when issuing a strike, please PM me on chickensmoothie so I can list it.
4. obviously, please try to judge the others fairly! if you are uncertain about a situation always feel free to ask other mods or myself for a second or third opinion!

artists

1. all general rules apply.
2. please try to make at least one adopt per month.
3. please do not make any FCFS (first come first serve) adopts. I consider them highly unfair, since some users are asleep at the time they are posted and don't have any chance at winning the adopt at all.
4. you can make as many very common to uncommon adopts as you wish, just try to keep the uncommon more rare than the commons!
5. rare adopts are reserved for special occasions like an artist's birthday or a ryugi event. if there is a special occasion for you, feel free to PM me for permission to make a rare adopt for that occasion!
6. very rare and ultra rare adopts are reserved for events and the 00 adopts!
7. runner ups can always be awarded!
