Dekkhian Canidae
-A canid animal which resides in the forests of Dekkhr-

Dekkhians visually resemble a mixture of wolf, tiger, and fox. They have a wide range of coat colors and markings, although it has been observed that striped Dekkhians are gradually becoming more common than other marking types. Dekkhians can grow to anywhere between 5 foot to 10 foot in height when stood on all 4 paws, the bulky body type usually being larger than lean body types. Dekkhian Canidaes natural habitat is a deciduous woodland called Dekkhr. The forest has a wide biodiversity, including large fruit bearing trees, and has many species unique to Dekkhr alone. Being omnivorous animals they can eat a wide range of foods, although a healthy diet consists mostly consists of bird eggs and fruit. They are primarily scavengers and if given the opportunity Dekkhians will steal food from other animals. Dekkhians have developed strong muscles in their hind legs that have resulted in an incredible capability for jumping. They often use this to raid bird nests and snag fruit from high branches.

These creatures are commonly nicknamed "the Leaping Thieves".
