- ➡ what are they?
- The short answer: Briffons, or Briffs for short, are quadrupedal birds! These
mysterious creatures were first discovered on a desolate island, where their
ancestors, huge, colorful birds, had presumably washed ashore thousands of
years ago. Because there were no natural predators to pick off the birds, they
thrived, loosing their need for flight. Therefore, instead of wings, they have
well-developed front legs, which resemble the legs of quadrupedal mammals
such as dogs or cats. They also have a long, feathery tail. This tail is decorated
with a large bow. These bows are very important to Briffon culture, as these
bows are a physical representation of the Briff's personality. The Briff chooses
their own bow, and decorates it however they wish.
- ➡ how do I get one?
- First, check to see if any Briffs are up for adoption! Then, participate in a
competition decided by the artist in order to determine who should get that
Briff. If no Briffs are up for adoption, check the nursery.
