Hazard Cats are long legged felines with quite a few robotic qualities. Their tails are about the length of their body, split into two pieces, and connected by some form of energy. The glass screens on their chest are most commonly known to show a heartbeat, but many other glowing images can appear there. These images mirror the cat’s health in one way or another. Some cats have static on their screens, but beware, those cats are as dangerous as they are rare! The picture on the screen will always match the color of the cat’s eyes, which typically have hollowed pupils. Hazards have three eyes, but the center one is almost always covered with a band-aid or something similar. This is because of the often dangerous powers that are channeled through the third eye. Grates on the cats’ sides aid in breathing and can also emit a steam, sound and mist, as well as a strange goo. Their large ears allow them to hear potential prey miles away and make them skilled trackers, but they are easily overwhelmed by too much noise. Thanks to their strong legs, Hazard cats can reach speeds up to fifty miles per hour and leap near ten feet up.

[Rules]
1 - You currently may own up to 10 Hazard Cats.
2 - Do not steal or copy the species or any of the designs.
3 - No whining, arguing, bribing, begging, mini-modding, spamming...just, be nice to people, please!
4 - Hazard Cats cannot under any circumstance be sold or auctioned off. They are for adoption in the form of official contests held here at the center only. Cats also cannot be put in 'free' folders such as a sta.sh. They can be gifted to specific people, but should not be given away in this random manner.
5 - These are a closed species, meaning you cannot make your own.
6 - Do not ask to be part of the staff.
7 - All Hazard Cats are sexless and can use any pronouns they like
8 - If you wish to give up ownership, you must speak with the artist who designed it so that it can go back up for re-adoption. If the artist is no longer a member of the staff, contact the owner instead. Contests for re-adoptions can be held by the original artist, me, or the ex-owner.
9 - Gift lines can be made by non-owners, but can only be colored in by owners.
10 - Do not ask for customs, as that is not, nor will it, be an option.
11 - You may add accessories to your cat, but you cannot change the lines or the design.
12 - Cats can be grown after two months of ownership by posting on the Color-in Center.
13 - Co-owing a Hazard Cat is not allowed.
14 - You may not make a hazard's power some sort of elemental power unless the cat came with it. Official elemental powers are fire, air, water, earth, weather, frost, sparks (aka, electricity), light, and dark.
15 - It is not against the rules for two cats to have the same name. If this gets out of control, this rule will be changed.
16 - Please do not randomly rename cats. The only way to rename a cat is during a readoption contest. However, your cat can have an alias it goes by instead. Just note that this name will not appear in the archives. Gender cannot be changed either with the exception of readoptions unless the cat has been bred, in which case the gender must stay the same.
17 - You may gift a hazard you own to another user must you must let me know about it. I should also be notified of all readoptions
18 - I reserve the right to repossess Hazard Cats if need be.
19 - Editing a form after the end date will result in disqualification.

Staff rules --
1 - Artist and staff are allowed to own 12 Hazard Cats.
2 - Please refrain from abusing neon colors and do not use solid black in designs at all.
3 - The color of the cat's eyes must match the heartbeat/glow on their screen.
4 - All cats must have screens and grates. Do not edit them out.
5 - You may make as many line edits as you like, as long as you don't stray too far from the original lines. There are no rarities assigned to edits.
6 - Do not draw your own lines without permission.
7 - Designs 50, 100, 150, etc. will be designed by me.
8 - Runner ups are not to be numbered. Guest artists cannot make runner ups during their term.
9 - Guest artist are allowed to make 4 Hazard cats, one of which can be a custom. The term lasts a month, after which they will have their name removed from the drawing.
10 - Do not remove my signature for any reason. You are allowed to move it as long as it is still in clear view.
11 - AlleyBalley, Glitch., and HannahBug do not have an adoption limit.
12 - Don't convert hazard's tails into bobs or regular cat tails unless specific permission is given.
13 - If you get permission to post a cat that is an exception to the rules (custom lines, for example) you must say that I have approved it somewhere in the post.
14 - Guidelines for rarities: one in every fifteen-twenty (approximately) cats can have rare traits. Uncommon cats can show up every one in five (approximately) Cats with both rare or uncommon traits are harder to find. It's more likely for them to have, say, and uncommon grate and a rare tail.
15 - Artists can make customs after they've created 10 adopts. Each custom must have 10 adopts by that same artist between them.
16 - Do not make cats that look like characters from shows/books/etc. You can vaguely base them off such things, but I won't allow, say, Five Nights at Freddy's or My Little Pony characters to be converted into cats. They are also not to be based off of flags at all.
