____________________The Land of Iolunn
♢The Land of Iolunn offers many obstacles for all inhabitants. With overgrown foliage, most light is shielded from the ground, and this can give land-dwellers cold weather, especially when the sun is furthest away - winter.
♢ Iolunn is considered by some, a four-seasonal planet being that the temperatures get considerably warmer, and cooler, depending on the planet's distance towards the sun. Though, creatures here have never experienced snow.
♢ Large, ancient trees are scattered abundantly throughout these lands, reaching to around 700ft. tall. The tallest, and most known home of the Ancient Timberlock, on the center-most part of Iolunn stands at 805.7 ft. tall.
♢ Aside from the enormous trees, most of the smaller type plants are large, and leafy. The ground of Iolunn's islands are much like Earth's rain forests, this being that the plants are considerably large, and well nourished.
♢ Iolunn has three moons, the smallest being seasonal and only comes out in the 'summer' months, Crisenthum. Followed by Vexus - a large, red moon much like mars. Lastly, Tygette - medium, blue moon that sits below Vexus.
♢ The Iolunn calendar is much like ours, except it has fourteen months, instead of twelve. Ten of those being hot, and warm. The four remaining months are cooler, and frost can form on the leaves and a thin layer of ice upon the rivers.
♢ Water on Iolunn has an odd luminescence, the rivers and lakes having a light blue glowing color, due to the organisms that reside in the water.
♢ Iolunn also houses sizable mountains and volcanoes, much like those found on earth. Creatures of Iolunn
Many odd creatures lurk beneath these trees, each of those serving a specific puspose.
● Sentenients: These creatures have up to forty tentacles, small and large. Two of them being longer and wider and are used are their primary limbs. They have a hard, beak like mouth with two larger teeth to help tear at meat. They normally have black, or dark brown skin, covered in tiny scales to protect and keep them warm. They are known to travel in groups of four, usually led by a king.
●Howlers: Large, ape-like animals - about the size of a large male lion with long, brown or grey fur. Their faces are mask-like. It is hard like bone and sligtly scaly. It has red freckles under two black eyes. The name derives from the odd and empty howling sound they make when the sun goes down, filling the land of Lolunn with their echoing cries.
●Parralex: Large bird with a wingspan if twenty-four feet across. They have black feathers, and a long tail. They bare increddibly sharp talons, and beaks. These birds are strictly carnivorous.
●Timaren: Common prey to most predators in Lolunn. They are small deer-like animals with short and very soft fur. They have almost goat like eyes, and can see through ultraviolet light. Timaren aren't the fastest creature and are limited to the earth. They're also poor fighters. Timaren come in all varieties of colors, though all have up to 8 stripes along their back, and spots always running under the stripes.
● Elitra: Three foot tall, bug-like creatures. They have long oval shaped bodies covered in a shell with sharp stilt legs jutting from it. They are tough creatures, but stay in groups of seven or eight so they form strong defenses.
●Ferr: Found underground in borrows, Ferrs are large gerbil-like animal, with short stumpy legs. They have long claws for digging, and a fury, wide bodies with a long head. They can live in groups of up to 30 adults and babies in one den. Their meals consist of bugs found under Lolunn's surface and they make nightly above ground to meet water needs.
●Pslyadex: The size of a smaller elephant, It has strong legs for running, a black, scaley body and a large mane filled with spikes. They sport two rows of large deadly teeth and equally as deadly claws. They travel in packs of seven to ten, and seem peaceful from afar, until they smell prey.
●Commonwealth: Lolunn also contains species of birds, fish and bugs common to those on earth, though each has adapted to the Lolunn's unforgiving ecosystem. ● = Intermediate prey. Timberlock that are higher in rank usually gravitate higher in the tree. Each family, or being has it's own room in their birth tree, where their family tribe is located. And though most Ancient Timberlock choose to stay in the tribe their family was born, but it isn't rare to find that an Ancient Timberlock leaves their tribe to another. Very few loners are found amongst this species due to danger levels of Lolunn. Loners are either extremely experienced in fighting, or have sided with another species who takes them in as part of their family. Most loners have succumb to the evil within themselves.
