Faeli are timid, peaceful creatures, most active around dusk and dawn. Their diet consists mostly of fruit, nectar, and tree sap. They make few sounds, and mostly communicate through gestures with their antennae and flashes of bioluminescence. A fae's lights will go dark when they are frightened or upset, and glow most brightly when they're comfortable and happy.

☆ Name: Faeli (Pronounced 'Fay-lie'. singular: Faelin)
Sometimes shortened to "Fae".

☆ Size: 20-30cm (8-12 inches) long, not including the their tail, which can be almost as long as their body.
They are very light, weighing about 0.5 to 1 kg (1-2 lb). About the size of a young kitten.

☆ Description: Faeli's pelts range from a variety of colors from natural browns and greys, to unnatural pinks or blues. Though it is uncommon to see a darker Faelin, and most have at least one spot on their coat. The color of their paw pads most often matches their eyes, and will rarely be a dull color. Faeli have glowing or bioluminescent antennae and one single gem like shape on their forehead serving as not only communication, but flashlights and more.

☆ Domestication: If raised from a young age, a faelin can make an excellent pet. If socialized properly, they can be comfortable with many people, though they tend to only form a close bond with one.
It is possible to tame a wild faelin, though it takes a lot of time and patience to earn one's trust. Faeli tamed this way will likely be wary around anyone but his or her trusted owner.
A pet fae, much like it's wild cousins, prefers to perch somewhere high enough to see everything going on around it. Unlike wild fae, this is often on their owner's head or shoulder.

How to Adopt

If you wish to adopt a Faelin, simply find a design that still contains an "Adopt Me" sign on it, then fill out the form the Artist has provided for that Faelin, each one may differ slightly, so be sure to read all of that artist's rules.
