A cape-tailed dragon is a peaceful, mountain-dwelling fluffy breed of dragon, named for their long flat tails that quite resemble capes.

HABITAT AND HOME
Cape Tailed Dragons prefer cold, rocky and sparsely-planted landscapes such as further north or on mountain ranges worldwide, where they live in caves with their "Clan", immediate family members, or by themselves. If there are no stone caves, they may live anywhere sheltered from the wind and elements, such as fallen trees or even abandoned houses. They create comfortable beds made of leaves and twigs with fluff they shed during the springtime and decorate their homes with interesting trinkets, though aren't known to steal.
Generally speaking, flightless Cape Tailed Dragons live at lower elevation, while those with wings can inhabit harder to reach cliffs up top. As a whole, they usually prefer a nice view, such as valleys secluded from mankind.
DIET
Because different amounts of different foods grow depending on the subject's elevation on a mountain, their diets may vary (ex: those who live in colder heights eat less plants). Also because some have wings, those who have wings can hunt easier from the sky, and may eat more meat than flightless CTDs.

LIFESTYLE AND BEHAVIOR
Cape Tailed Dragons have an average life lasting 120 years. Most live in "Clans" of 5-16 members, which have rankings much like a wolf pack. They live somewhere that can support all of them, with enough dens and food to go around. If overpopulated, the dominant male and female might drive some members out. Some live alone or with their immediate families. They are territorial towards their own kind and other dragons, often through teamwork; because of this, large groups are more likely to survive.
REPRODUCTION
During mating season in the early spring, males will fight other males with their horns to impress mates. Both genders are as loyal to their spouse as are people.
A littler of 1-3 is born in the summer. At least one of the parents will stay with the pup at all times--at first it is the mother, but when the pups are past nursing then both parents contribute equally to hunting.
Depending on how much food and space is available in a clan, new pups--especially runts--may be driven out.
ABILITIES & FUNFACTS
Every Cape Tailed Dragon has the ability to swim, thanks to their beaver-like tails. They are very agile in the water, as they have to be in order to evade the dangerous mountain river currents.
While they can communicate within their own species and many others, they do not speak a human language.

Minimods help prevent copying issues. They cannot deliver a warning/"Strike" to someone without consulting me first, and should report any issues regarding CTD's that you find.
After a while of being a good Minimod, you're upgraded to Absolute Mod, allowing you to dish out strikes and eliminate issues how you see fit. (I still need to know of strikes of course so I can record them)
