♡ What is Forever-Chance ResQ all about? ♥
Forever-Chance ResQ is an animal rescue center, dedicated to adopting out a wide variety of critters, both large and small. Some of the animals brought to us have had a rough past, while a few were picked up off the street. Still others were former pets but the previous owners could not maintain their upkeep, thus surrendering the animals here. Each animal that is brought to FCR goes through a rehabilitation program which assesses their individual needs, strengths, and weaknesses. But no matter their background or history, all of the animals here are looking for a new home, where they will be loved unconditionally and forever. Will you adopt one of them, giving them a "forever-chance"?
Forever-Chance ResQ is dedicated to finding the perfect home for each individual creature, and we encourage potential adopters to be 'picky' about which pet you chose to try out for. c: Do not collect these guys like other adoption places here on CS. We wish our animals to be adopted out to caring and dedicated new owners. So please, do not try out for an animal unless you would surely be interested adopting.

A lovely mother cat and her kittens are each up for adoption at the moment.
This Christmas we had quite a few animals surrendered or brought to FCR, so keep a look out... especially for puppies.

↪Follow all of the rules that CS provides.
↪Do not request to be an artist or part of the staff.
↪Respect all of the Rescuers, Caretakers, and Staff.
↪Do not "collect" these pets, but rather adopt them as new and loved characters. The artists/rescuers here take some good time and energy creating the animals here for you all to adopt. Don't let them sit for ages on a shelf gathering dust.
↪If you cannot take care of your animal anymore (that you previously adopted from here), then please return them. Do not sell them, give them away, etc., without my permission. Just PM me for the details on what you should do. c:
↪There is not a limit to how many animals you can adopt here at FC ResQ, but please be considerate of others if you have already adopted more than 3.
↪No complaining, arguing, begging, etc. Be kind and thoughtful toward others, and follow your moral conscience please!
↪Mostly all of the larger animals WILL BE SPAYED/NEUTERED, unless stated otherwise on the animal's page. Therefore you may not breed those who are spayed or neutered.

I want to adopt an animal with crazy designs and
wacky colors; where are they?
Just about all of our animals here are naturally designed
and colored, according to their species. It is extremely rare
to have one that is unnatural adopted out here at FC ResQ.
How many animals can I adopt?
There is no limit, though I would stress that you be
considerate of others if you own more than three.
Do they grow?
No, as of now none of the baby/young animals adopted
out grow. Only on special occasions will they grow, but such
shall be stated on the adopt's page.
How many can we try out for at a time?
There is no set limit, though it is highly encouraged that you
only try out for one at a time.
Can I breed my animal?
If the animal in question is NOT spayed or neutered, then
you may send Vet a PM concerning this. We do not breed the
animals for you; this is merely for you to get permission.
However, we discourage breeding. There are so many animals
in shelters/up for adoption as it is.
What sorts of animals do you specialize in?
FC ResQ is known for our flexibility. We rescue everything from
geckos to birds, dogs to hamsters. There is so much variety!
However, we do happen to rescue more canines and felines on
a regular basis, so you could say those are our specialty.
Can I be a guest artist, official artist, or mod?
I am not looking for any of the above. If I ever have a need for one of these,
I will make it known or ask a friend of mine to fill the job. c:
Go onto the page of the one you wish to adopt and there will be a provided form there. Copy and paste it into a reply on the animal's oekaki page, fill all of the criteria in, and post it. There it will be judged with all the other forms by the artist to see who has won it!
The animal that I want has a personality/small description of its history at the top. Do I have to follow this?
Under normal circumstances, yes. The artists have a right to give the animal a small history or description prior to adoption. Normally it is somewhat vague, just letting you know the basics and status of the animal.

Yes! Please post or PM Vet and we will edit the things that need to be updated. c:
Can I add more stuff to my form?
Yes, you can, but remember we will only judge on what we say we are judging on. For example, if we say we judge on name and you make a form with a name and art, we will not include the artwork into the judging. Also, some artists have different rules on this. It will most likely be stated on the animal's page.
How come I posted a form and didn't win?
The artists pick the winner with their own personal preference. Sorry! But you can try out for another one and make your form better than the last! :3
Can I add accessories to my animal?
Yes! This is actually strongly encouraged. However, we prefer you only add natural accessories such as collars, bandannas, pet-clothes, etc. that an every-day pet would wear. No piercings or anything that would hurt the animal either.
Can my form be disqualified?
Yes it can for a few reasons. First off, if you post something against any of the rules on this thread or on CS. Another way is if you are warned or banned from the thread and posted a form anyways. And this one won't get you disqualified, but it will take points off when judging: Do not remove the bolding on the form and make sure you post after the bold, not in it.Example of the WRONG WAY to bold:

I don't like/want/need/have time for my animal, should I just forget it or give it away?
No! Give it back to us and we will put it back up for adoption! I totally understand if you don't want it anymore, as it has happened to me and many others. Just don't forget it or give it to someone else. All you have to do is let .Vetinater. or one of the other staff know, and we'll search for another loving and caring home for your animal! <3~
