- Welcome to the Deerssert HQ! Here you'll find deer who would love to be your companions, if you'll only let them!
Make yourself comfortable and read through the thread if you'd like to know more!

- Deerssert are a mystical, mythological species that appear in history every so often. Sightings grew sparser and sparser through the years, but now they've started to appear more and more. Here at the HQ, a centre dedicated to keeping these creatures from being hunted, we cannot foster them all-- and that's where you come in!
The simplest way to explain them? Deersserts are deer with a twist! While the specifics vary from deer to deer, they all have a few things in common. Deersserts have muscle, skin, fur and bone, but they are described as tasting like sweets. Their scent lingers so much that hides carry a fragrant scent even after death. Instead of fluffy tails, they have a pouf of whipped cream or ice cream [depending on the deer!] with some manner of fruit on top.
Size-wise, they're about the size of a border collie, but have been known to grow to the size of a horse in rare cirucmstances. [In even rarer circumstances, they have gotten bigger. This is the largest deerssert known.] Likewise, they are born as small as a full-grown rabbit, and some never progress past this size.

- 1. Please do not spam.
2. Please do not whine about losing a contest. Likewise, do not guilt trip the artist who judged the competition.
3. Please do not eat the deersserts.
4. Each person is allowed 15 deersserts at the present time. You are allowed 4 customs as well. Artists may have as many customs as they would like, and mods and guest artists are allowed one extra custom; as a reward for all of their service.
5. Guest artists may only make five deersserts, and must make them within two months of being accepted as a guest artist.
6. Artists may not make 'first come, first serve' contests nor auctions.
7. If a contest is not judged within three weeks of its end date [or three weeks after its extension], a replacement judge will be assigned.
8. If you want to keep your staff position, you must remain active within the community; either by visiting the fanclub or making deersserts.
9. As of December 15th, deersserts can be revoked whenever deemed fit by me. I own the design AND species of each deer so you can't have them transferred after having them revoked.
10. If you're banned you: cannot post on the site, on the main threads, and cannot breed your deer (if allowed to keep them)
11. Deersserts cannot express negativity towards any minority or show negative bias. This applies to all deersserts, regardless of creation date.

- I no longer want my deerssert! What should I do?
That's okay! Please either inform me and the artist that you'll be gifting it to someone [through PM, please!] or put it up for readoption. This applies for customs too.
I was gifted a custom... will this count as one of my customs?
No, it will count towards your normal limit.
