- The name Vulpigrem comes from a combination of the Latin words for horned, fox, and bird; corniger, vulpes, and avem. They have the body, head, and back legs of a fox. They have long, back-angled antlers and their front legs are talons. Each Vulpigrem has unique "trinkets" tied to their antlers, for both a sense of individuality and as a harbor for their magic and elemental power. The elemental part comes in when you reach the tail. Based on the element they are closest to at birth, they absorb the element's power, which is reflected in the state of their tail. The average height is near 3 feet, give or take a few inches.
They are generally independent creatures. With their elemental power to protect them, the point of a herd is irrelevant. However, it is not necessarily uncommon to find Vulpigrem of the same element hanging around together. Generally, however, they are hostile towards other elements, as the clashing elements that come with encounters with most are dangerous. They are gifted and swift hunters, mostly preying on small mammals and the occasional fish. They will also, though unwillingly, eat leaves and berries. Their fur gets slightly thicker and near white in the winter, as they are common in areas with heavy snow. However, their unique patterns always return in the spring. ➴

- There will be a form on the post that has the Vulpigrem you wish to adopt. Simply fill this out, and post it to the thread. Either the artist will have a set ending date, number of pages/posts, or wait for a form they find perfect to choose the new owner. Filling out a form does not guarantee you the Vulpigrem. The only ones up for adoption are the ones that say "Adopt Me!" on the picture. An artist may or may not set a price on a Vulpigrem.
If you wish to no longer keep a Vulpigrem you adopted, simply say so and we will label it given up and put it back up for re-adoption.
Affiliates get one Vulpigrem by default if they are first to post. ➴

➶ R u l e s
- - Do not claim as your own
- Do not complain if your form did not win a Vulpigrem
- Do not ask/beg to become an artist; join the competition
- Do not go off and create your own, unless its fanart of an existing Vulpigrem or part of the artist competition
- No spamming ➴

- - No major line edits
- Do not add items [that's what trinkets are for]
- Do not make more than two customs for yourself. You may try for another artist's creation
- It is your choice whether or not to ask for a payment for your design, just add a payment section to your form
- Make sure their design coincides with their element
- You may choose whether or not to have a set gender, but nothing else
- You can change the background however you want, doesn't matter to me
- You can format your own unique form, just make sure it includes Vulpigrem name, gender, about the Vulpigrem, how many
- Guest artists may do one of each element.
- Element background color codes are red [fire], green [earth], purple [air], and blue [water]
- they already own [try to be biased towards lower numbers] and payment, if you chose to have it. ➴

- All Vulpigrems can breed with each other, though generally fire stays away from earth and water. The parents' elements do not effect the offspring's; theirs is only effected by the elements around them as they are born. Elements do act as genetics, and some are dominant to others. Here is a chart of dominance:
FIRE is dominant to AIR, EARTH
AIR is dominant to WATER
WATER is dominant to EARTH, FIRE
EARTH is dominant to AIR
Again, this does not depend on parents, but the environment. Couples of the same element mate for life, and can have up to four offspring. Couples of a different element do not mate for life, but can have only one offspring per pairing. One parent owner must post the form, and the other must conform it. Little Vulpies will stay in the nursery until they are adopted.
Owners of the parents are not guaranteed a little Vulpie unless they say so. Otherwise I'll assume they're all free-for-alls. Also, no fighting over who cats the offspring of a multi-element couple. Please figure it out beforehand. ➴
