Welcome to UniCats adopts.

Here you'll find all sorts of UniCat adoptables with customs and breeding coming soon!
Some adopts are will be won through forms that the artists provide, others will be paid through payment.

You might be wondering what exactly a UniCat is, so let me tell you!

UniCats are are hybrid species created by a scientist who had two daughters. When asked what pet they wanted, one of them said they wanted a cat, and the other said that they wanted a unicorn - in the end he created a species that they could both be happy with. He shared their genetics with the world so people all over could have UniCats of their own!

UniCats are the size of an average house cat, but they're a bit more clumsy due to their hooves. Generally, they still act like house cats! They like to play with yarn, and chase lasers, but when they get older, they tend to be faster than the average house cat.

Rules:
• Follow all of the rules of CS, obviously.
• Respect and obey all of the mods and artists.
• No stealing or copying anything that is not yours.
• Please be patient, and don't complain if you don't win - there will be plenty of UniCats to go around!
• You may not sell your UniCat UNLESS you've paid for it or it is your own custom - if you no longer want it, message myself or Resin and we will find it a suitable home.
• You can apply for as many as you'd like, but keep in mind that you should give other people a chance at one too!
• Please do not ask for customs. I will let you know when those are up and running.
• Please do not chat on the UniCat adoption pages - chat about them here!

Artist Rules:
• Be on top of your adopts - end it when you say you will, and judge promptly - you can award a second place winner if you'd like and so on.
• You're allowed to do small edits, but nothing drastic.
• When you close entries, try to have a new adopt ready to be adopted! I want these to flourish! Don't have more adopts up than you can handle.
• You are allowed to make yourselves two customs, possibly more with my permission.
• Keep PPS UniCats to a minimum.
• You can have UniCats that grow into something.
• A background is not required!

Rules may be altered and added at my own will and accord.

How to Adopt:
• Follow the instructions on the UniCats design page. Some artists might have you fill out forms, others might give it to the highest bidder.

• Lorrilai - I am the main mod and permanent artist. Your questions and concerns should be forwarded to me.

• Resin - She is my right hand man and one of my best friends, if you can't get in touch with me, you can always ask her! She's also a main mod and permanent artist for as long as she wants the position.

• PrinceApple - PrinceApple is my love. Though he is not very active, he might pop on and colour a few cuties and maybe help out who ever might need it.

• ☁Rαιиу-Cℓσυ∂☁ - The original line art artist. They're a permanent artist as long as they want the position!

• .:nevermind:. - They are allowed to be an artist if they wish it.

UniCats Currency

The currency we use here is UCC. Pets and items can be converted to UCC.
UCC will be used as points for you to buy custom slots and breeding stuff.

OMG So Common : 1 UCC
Very Common : 5 UCC
Unknown / Common : 10 UCC
Uncommon : 100 UCC
Rare : 750 UCC
Very Rare: 2500 UCC
OMG So Rare : Infinite UCC

Add extra PP for the following things.
2008 : +100 UCC
2009 : +50 UCC
2010 : +25 UCC
2011 : +15 UCC
2012 : +10 UCC
2013 : +05 UCC

Hoard Pets: +25 UCC
Wishlist Pets: +75 UCC

When you send a trade, please be sure to say what it's for or we might assume it's a gift. You don't have to do the math or anything, though.

You can send the trade to myself or Resin but you should send the trade to the person you want to do your customs and things - that just makes it easier when it comes time for artist payment!

Please note that Resin DOES NOT accept anything less than an uncommon unless it is on her wishlist!

In order to keep from stretching the page - I will keep track of everyones UCC's privatley. If you're ever unsure of how many points you have, please don't hesitate to ask!

Customs

Customs are open!

Resin and I will be the only one doing customs for now. This may change if we get an artist we trust and are comfortable with.
Customs may take a few days to a week or two depending on workload- please be patient with us!

Bronze Customs ( 100 UCC): These customs will get you no line edits, only colourings.
Silver Customs( 250 UCC) : These customs will get you accessories and colours but no line edits.
Gold Customs ( 500 UCC) : These customs will get you small edits, accessories if you wish, and colouring.
Platinum Customs: ( 1000 UCC): These customs will you get pretty much anything you ask us for.

Special Custom / Alt Chibi lines

In order to have a custom on these lines, you need a ChibiUC potion.
A ChibiUC Potion is a special potion that can only be bought with rares (and up) or other special payments*.
* - We will tell you what may be available for use.

Bronze ChibiUC (One rare or *) - No edits, only colouring.
Silver ChibiUC (Two Rares or *) - Minor edits OR 1-2 accessories, plus colouring.
Gold ChibiUC (Three Rares or *) - Minor edits and 1-2 accessories, plus colouring.
Platnium ChibiUC (Four Rares+ or *) - Bigger edits and more accessories can be added, plus your colouring. For more complex designs, we will ask for a higher payment. It's best to discuss your custom with your artist of choice before you submit this.

Please send the trade to the artist you want to do your custom because one of us might have a special payment* we'd prefer and please specify that you are buying a potion or we will assume it's for UCC and convert it to that! (So you have to choose between Resin and myself, Lorrilai. We will list our special payments on the alt thread.)

You CAN NOT use UCC you already have to buy these potions - sorry! As mentioned, these are special, so you have to send a seperate kind of trade.

Breedings!

This is still a work in progress! Breedings are currently closed!
As of right now, Resin and I are the only artists doing breedings.

Gender does not matter when it comes to breeding UniCats - UniCats use magic to reproduce. You may use any gender you want.
When pairing two UniCats, you must either be both of the owners or have full permission of the other owner to breed them. You will also gender your own babies when they are born. Unless you use a Breeding Add On, your pair will only have one offspring.

You may purchase Breeding Add Ons with UCC to make more out of them. I will list the add on's after the form. You may PM one/both of us the form or post it on the thread.

Basic Breedings cost X UCC. They may take a few days to a week or so - it depends on the workload, please be patient!

Breeding Add Ons:
You add these to the cost of a basic breeding.
Bronze Fertility Potion ( 200 UCC) : Your pairing will have two offspring instead of one.
Silver Fertility Potion ( 500 UCC) : Your pairing will have three offspring instead of one.
Mystery Fertility Potion ( 300 UCC) : Like a gamble? This potion could yield one offspring, but if you're lucky, you could end up with four!

Mystery Genes Potion ( 100 UCC ) : Tells us that you want us to throw some random colouring / lines / markings into the breeding that don't necessarily come from either of the parents.

Limited Edition Add Ons:
These add on's will be special add on's that are only available during events or they may only have a certain amount that people can purchase. You may purchase them without doing a breeding and we will keep track of that for later use.
