These guys are going for auction,
I have decided to give all of my old unused adoptables new owners in hopes that they will take better care of them and let them grow as a species!
I would like the information and main concept for the species kept the same, but feel free to change it a little, or remove the limits on colors. I just don't want to see them turn into some sparke adoptable, mkay?
Go to the last post for information about the acution and what you should bid! c:

▫ ▪ ▫ Dragonbird Hoppers? ▫ ▪ ▫
▪ ▫ Dragonbird Hopper Reference Sheet ▫ ▪
▫ ▪ ▫ Basic Information ▫ ▪ ▫
These little creatures are only about the size of average birds. Their height reaching only about 20 inches (or 50 cm) and being about 15 inches (45 cm) in lenght, their small but not easily missed.
Their bright colors can't ever be mistaken with another creature, their unmissable, shiny feathers seem to almost glow.
Extremely light due to their hollow bones and little mass, they don't teally need to fly, being able to jump a few metres in hight and in lenght.
Dragonbirds are also surprisingly fast, their 'gate' simillar to a gallop, they can run for hours without stopping or drinking.
You'll usualy find them in meadows, the woods or even perched on the branches of smaller trees.
Personality wise, they are a animals like no other. Un-tamed and free creatures who still love company and are easily befriended, neither could dragonbirds be described as shy beings, always curious and silly. They'll easily run over to you, purring and hopping around your legs.
If you reach your hand down they'll swftly jump on and let you lift them to your face. To stare them in their beady eyes...
▫ ▪ ▫ Colors and Markings ▫ ▪ ▫
The variety in colors when it comes to these little hoppers is endless, though it seems greens, blues and purples are the most common.
The markings can also be any shape and color, but they still follow a similalr pattern. Usualy being swils, curved lines and dots they most commonly appear on the back, the back of the neck, belly, tail and legs.
The Belly, chest and legs usualy have a different, lighter shade of color from the rest of the body and most of the dragonbirds' markings seem to glow. Stripes are also commonly seen, especialy on the tails and legs.
Quite limitless and fun creatures.
▫ ▪ ▫ Adoption ▫ ▪ ▫
▪To adopt a DBH, simply click on one you like, but make sure it says 'Adopt Me' in the corner.
▪ Then, fill out the form that's included in the first post of that adoptable and hope for the best ;3
It will usualy be a simpe form asking you to name the creature, write a little story or even draw him/her.
▪ You can try out for up to 3 DBH at a time, no more c:
▪ You may own 3 Adopted dragonbirds. Gifted and bred DBH are not included in this limit.
▪ An owner will be picked when a fair amount of quality forms has been recieved.
▫ ▪ ▫ Rules ▫ ▪ ▫
▪ Be nice, don't start arguments, just ask a question or pm me, don't fight, etc. Come on guys, you know all this.
▪ No copying the concept/idea/design in any way.
▪ 5 Adopted dragonbirds per person for the time being.
▪ You can try out for up to 3 DBH at a time, no more. All of the forms will be ignored if you break this rule.
▪ You are NOT allowed to create/invent/draw your own Dragonbird. Meaning, no new designs. That includes suggestions.
▪ You ARE allowed to make and order as much art as you like of the DBH you have adopted here. No changing markings or adding anything though.
▪ You are NOT allowed to change the species after you have adopted a DBH. For example, lets say you adopt an DBH from here and then want to make it a character of yours, but you want it to be a normal dragon or even wolf but for it to simply keep the design... That is NOT allowed. It just makes this whole species pointless.
▪ Follow all art/art theft rules.
▪ Have fun ;3
▫ ▪ ▫ Breeding ▫ ▪ ▫
Dragonbird Hoppers are very loving and loyal creatures who easily have big families.
▪ A female DBH will usualy have about 5 or 6 offspring in her life and is able to have 2 or sometimes even 3 at a time.
▪ Your DBH will only ever have one mate, so choose carefully.
▪ If you would like to breed your Dragonbird with another, you and the owner of the 'mate' will have to fill this out ;3
(Breeding Fee is 1 Rare off my Wishlist. I won't accept anything less.)

▫ ▪ ▫ Dragonbird Hoppers? ▫ ▪ ▫
A Dragonbird Hopper is a happy, active and quirky creature.
Resembling dragons and birds, they can't fly, but rather hop or 'jump' extreme hights and distances thanks to their long athletic legs.
You'll often see them in the night, chasing little fireflies and somehow trying to reach the moon.
