Welcome to Caelestis Canids Adopts. Here, you are given the opportunity to adopt your own Caelestis Canid. Not much is known about these unearthly creatures, but all information regarding them will be posted on the official Caelestis Canids thread.

• Please be respectful to all people associated with this thread. Whether it be staff members, adopters, affiliates, or whoever else.
• Do not steal any of the species seen. Period.
• No bribing, please. Bribes won't get you anywhere.
• Don't ask to be an Artist/Staff Member. If I need help, I'll invite people myself.
• No complaining if you do not win a certain Caelestis Canid.
• ...No complaining about anything else. :I
• If you no longer want your Caelestis Canid(s), please PM me or another staff member so that we can re-adopt it out.
• Do not steal someone else's Caelestis Canid, or steal any of the designs seen on the Canids.
• No spam please.

Question & Answer
How do I adopt a Caelestis Canid?
Simply look at all the "Colored-In" images underneath the main oekaki image. If any of them say, "Adopt Me!" on them, then they're available for you to adopt! Follow the instructions underneath the image of the Canid so that you can properly adopt it. Rarely are Canids adopted out on a "First Come, First Serve" basis.
...Caelestis Canids? What a weird name.
Yeah, yeah-- I know it's a little weird. "Caelestis" in Latin means, "Celestial, Heavenly, Of The Sky, Divine, or Godlike", so that's where I got that portion of the name. As for the "Canids" part, that just refers to this family which includes animals like dogs, wolves, and foxes. Thylacines are actually not apart of this family, but since they have some canine-like features I figured I would just sneak them in. :P
Also, the name is pronounced, " kay - less - tees " " kay - nids "
How many different species of Caelestis Canids are there?
As of now, there are 5 known species of Canids out there. These species are named after the earth creatures and the celestial bodies that they resemble. These include Red Giant Foxes, Nebula Wolves, Meteor Dogs, Black Hole Thylacines, and White Dwarf Foxes. While these are not their official, by-the-book names, we will call them by these names to avoid confusion.
Will you make me a custom Canid?
No. Canids follow color patterns, and custom orders would most likely mess these patterns up.
Can I breed my Canids?
Nope! Caelestis Canids are genderless animals. While some of them may identify themselves as the male or female gender, it's impossible for them to reproduce.
Can I roleplay my Canids?
Yes! An official roleplay will be created later on, but with my permission you can set up your own private roleplay. You may not use Canids on roleplays not designed specifically for Caelestis Canids.
Can I be an Artist/Staff Member?
Like I stated in the rules, asking to be an artist or staff member won't do you any good. If I decide I need more help, I will seek out people for the job myself.
How many Canids can I own/How many can I adopt in a day?
For now, I think I'm going to limit everyone one Canid per species, so 5 Canids total. This may change in the future, however. You can apply for as many Canids in a day that you want, but you can only win one of the ones that you apply for.
How do I apply to be a guest artist?
Haha, trick question. There are no guest artist positions, nor will there ever be. :P
Can I design my own Canid?
Nope. The only Canids you can own are the ones adopted from this thread, or won through a competition.
Can I make my Canid my fursona?
No, you may not. You are welcome to have the canid as a character, but not a fursona that represents you.
Alrighty, I tried hitting every question that may be asked, but if you have more unanswered questions feel free to PM me. Don't ask questions that regard the actual Canids(i.e, habitat, diet, etc), because I haven't decided on the official information about them yet.
