I know I'm not the owner or anything, but I have been stalking this species since they've been released~ I'll just tell you now, cowlufoo2 isn't currently hiring(as far as my knowledge extends). In fact, I don't believe they've had positions open at all yet for artists or moderators^^ If you take a look at the rules of the second post, it mentions that you shouldn't ask to be a staff member unless applications are open. Currently, I don't believe they are. I'm sure the interest is appreciated though! (The owner may or may not have different inquiries about your request, but I'm just letting you know while I'm here).

As much as I'd love to become an artist myself, I think we just have to be patient~

I haven't had much time to do things, but in my spare time I have been drawing some designs on paper. I'll try to design it on here when I can

Whoops, I meant to get my in-progress design out sooner, but I couldn't find time to get online lately^^ (looking for houses is a struggle~) I'm off from school today though, so I'm gonna finish it up today. Look forward to it!
