I hate rude people

Hello

I've been here off and on since 2016 and even though I've tried my absolute hardest I've never quite gotten a grasp on rarities and equal trading. In order to counteract that I tend to trade same year for the same rarity. But sometimes I accidentally make unfair trades without knowing it..

I know there might be scammers out there but I'm sick of people being so rude over something I don't understand. I'm sorry my trade was unfair, I didn't know, but telling me to "read horror's guide as you obviously don't know how to trade" and "just quit" really make it hard to enjoy this game.

I'm an adult, I've read horror's guide, I still just don't quite understand it all/ keep track of "list" pets and such. I just want to trade cute animals and have fun!

Thank you for reading my venting lol. I feel whiney but I had to just say something somewhere.

I've been having issues too as of late with trading, Horror's guide is a complex nightmare so I'm glad people are starting to work on a Mid Advent based trading system. As long as people put values in pet names it's all good I find, just have to be careful with higher value pets as people might try and sneak an extra MA or two (or five lol)

It's rare, but it happens. When I first started out I made a trade offer for something that was of mid rarity at the time. What I made wasn't very far off value, but the person called me stupid and a waste of time, then proceeded to caps lock they were going to add me as a 'foe' over it.

I quit for over a year after that, and to date is the only person I have blocked on here.

Don't forget that you indeed can report people who are rude. I've done this before and mods always take care of it, don't be afraid to report someone for being rude!
(Of course, this goes both ways as well)

i understand your struggle; when it comes to numbers my brain turns to mush, so it makes trading valuable pets much more difficult for me. i've never personally subscribed to any lists either, so when the old rares list went defunct i thought i was finally free. Lol.

don't let em get to you, just collect your cute pets as you please =^.^=! you run into some bad eggs every once in a while, but as a whole the cs community is generally kind and understanding when it comes to users who don't have a grasp on the trading economy (which has been in shambles for a loooong time imo). i often frequent the trade advice thread for insight from users who are more well-versed in values than i am. i've also heard great things about the extension @roadkill. linked, though my browser is too outdated for me to use it myself.

Oops, sorry if this post isn't allowed here! I didn't want to pust in the trading help area as I didn't want to be bambarded with people trying to explain the trading system to me

Ooh I love that extension! I have it downloaded on my computer. The unfortunate thing is I almost exclusively use my phone so I don't get to use it as much as I like. If only there was an add on for Android.

Same! Believe me when I say I've tried to understand Horror's guide but once they start listing individual pets and the tiers I'm like and my brain just short circuits lol. I find that I tend to like trading with c$ cause people almost always put amounts for those and it makes it easier to understand for me lol

YES EXACTLY!!! the amount of people who have borderline threatened me bc i traded "unfairly" is insane tbh. im an adult, im just gere for the cute collecting side of things.
ive been on and off this site for over a decade now and still dont understand the "list". its pointless and frankly, a little dumb.
also, im so so sorry youve gotten rude messages and stuff. unfortunately its all too common on here. i once got harassed by a mod years ago. the other mods did nothing. it gets bad here sadly.
