Before I go on, let me just clear this up- yes, I am indeed a lesbian. For those of you who don't know what that is, it's a female who is solely attracted to other females.

Well, the thing is- I really really like her.

I've always thought she was attractive, but I never let it got too far- she's straight and has a boyfriend, and that's it.

Well, I was volunteering to help out with the 8th grade formal when she walked in. Normally, I wouldn't have thought twice about it, but she just looked.. So gorgeous.

Well, a slow song came on and she jokingly asked me to slow dance with her. I would have said yes, but the fact of the matter was, I was the only one serving drinks. At first, I was pissed that around seven other kids were in that confined area with me trying to 'help', but I was practically one of the only ones doing any work and I was squished. ;v; But then, I was pissed because at that point, everybody ditched me. >.>

I tried saying yes, but my words got all jumbled up and came out wrong, so I just laughed it off as a joke. But when she started walking away.. I felt so stupid. ._.

This was around a month ago now, and these feelings have still not gone away. She's extremely sweet and nice, but it's weird, because I fell for her the same week I got over the girl I had loved for over a year now.

She has no idea of my true feelings for her, and everyone who knows keeps giving me mixed advice. Some are saying just to go for it, others are saying it'll never happen because she is straight. I.. I don't think I want to get over her.

Oh, and another thing- she's in 8th grade, and I'm in 10, a sophmore people. .-.

I really need some advice here. The sooner, the better.~ }

@xXScarlettXx, as a fellow lesbian, I understand your predicament very well. Though she has/d a boyfriend, she may in fact not be straight. Some girls go through dating guys before realizing they're not straight. Though her behavior may just be a joke as well. If you get to know her better and she grows more responsive to you, you can always test it out by mentioning LGBTQ things with her and test her reception. This will also test the validity of your feelings if you're worried about then.
Depending though on where you are and your country's laws, you'll have to be careful if it develops, especially once you're an adult first. But if all's good legally, go for it but take your time.

Erm...not quite sure how to go about this, but I'll try to explain this as well as I can.

I've talked about A here before, though not extensively, just once. A quick recap to those who didn't read about it:
I really don't have many memories of him, I think he was always in my classes, but I never actually noticed him. This year, I was placed in a seat behind him in one of my classes, and naturally, we started talking. Over the year, we started becoming friends, even hanging out at the beach each week after school, though always with a few of my other friends [ so it wouldn't be awkward ].
The last day of school, we went to the beach, and just before I left he asked for my number, so I gave it to him.
He texted me later that night, and we had a massive conversation that went later into the night than I intended .__. I definitely had to pay for that at cross-country practice the next day.
-ahem- back to the subject.
It's been six days since school got out for me, and each day we've had conversations about completely random subjects. My phone is starting to automatically delete some of our older conversations to make room for the new ones [ it holds a maximum of 500 texts at a time from each person ]. It's really fun talking to him, since we're both interested in a lot of similar things [ running, for example ], and we both have a cynical sense of humour.
We made some plans to meet up at the beach over the summer, and I'm definitely looking forward to hanging out with him.

He's an awesome friend, but...-small voice- I think I might kind of like him -huddles in corner and melts into a puddle- Though it's before we started texting, so please don't take this as one of those relationships in which we've barely ever talked face-to-face.
Uh, yea, back on track. [ He was on track. Must not get off-topic here. ] One of my other guy friends, who is pretty much a second brother to me, was hesitant to say so, but he said that it seemed as though A likes me. Of course, I had no idea how to respond to that, so I didn't say anything at the time.
There are a few text messages that A sent me that seemed to indicate that he did like me, though I'm not quite sure.
Well, anyhow, if he ... makes a movement to be more than friends, I'm still going to say that we should wait until junior/ senior year. Just because I like a guy, and if he hypothetically likes me as well, doesn't mean that we shouldn't lose prudence.

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP?!

There's this guy I have liked for about 2 years now.
Last year I asked him out (I was totally desperate ._.) . and he said no because i was a total dweeb.
this year im so much prettier, and he always flirts. he teases me in a flirty way, he has a nickname for me, he accidentally touches my hand sometimes. i catch him staring at me in class. he specifically asked me for an invitation to a party i was holding, and he always likes and comments on my photos on fb. sometimes when i stare at him, he quickly looks away. or sometimes hell just smile at me. but he ignores my texts..is there a reason for that??

Well, one thing I can say is that if he likes you more because you're prettier, you might want to reevaluate.
