I hate having to hint with my guy about him kissing me.
If my best mate didn't place are hands together we wouldn't hold hands.
He'll hold my hand when my mate places his hand in mine, however he wont take my hand himself.
He's kissed me once, only people I practically had to ask him to kiss me.
He's not a stranger to dating, at all.
I'm glad its going slow but it makes me feel like he doesn't like me and that he only kissed me or holds my hand because he feels he has to, not that he wants to.
I know he really likes me but I cant help but feel insecure about it.
Anyone else have this problem?

Asexual people don't require or feel sexual desires as to kissing, hugging, or anything with touching. They can go about relationships with absoulty no romance needs. He could just be a romantic where he can say and do, but not with touching.

And if this is the case, then you both need to sit down and have a talk about both of your wants and needs.
I know for a fact that I couldn't handle being in a relationship with an asexual individual; I'm much too physical for that.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure being asexual doesn't really relate to being straight or not. I believe that he could be straight and just not "require or feel sexual desires".

I'm also going to push this idea at you:
You should talk to him about it. You won't get anywhere feeling awkward or insecure and it'll just get worse the longer you wait.

I've already talked to him about it,
he just says he really likes me and dosent want to screw up because he wants it to last.
i am also certain that if he was asexual he would tell me, in are friend group we range from bi to trans.
Were really open with each other about these things so im pretty sure he'd tell me.

so there's this guy who I consider one of my best friends, I've never looked at him and thought "oh my goodness, I love him he's so amazing" no. I see him as a best friend that's it. Friday night at youth [church thing] we were driving back to church after eating out and we were spitting spit balls at this guy. He was sitting behind me and decided to sit beside me, I let him because I didn't mind. The bus driver [my dad's best friend, -_-] looked back and said "awwww... Is that Jeremy and Jen[just my nickname but he said my full name] sitting by each other, I was like uh NO! But he wouldn't deny it, and he was blushing so I pushed him off the chair and he moved to the back. Everyone keeps teasing me when I do not like him. Sunday at church he started to actually have a conversation and I seriously think he likes me. But I don't like him like that, I don't like anyone like that, and his best friend [my past crush] has been seriously flirting with me lately and I'm just like .... uwu I don't like you.... But I don't want to be mean and say so. Because i could be wrong, and they are both my best friends.

Let's start at the beginning.
Last year I had a huge crush on this guy just because he was nice. Stupid, right? Well anyway my best friend started liking him and he liked her - it was more obvious than a infected zit. She knew I liked him so she never asked him out until I said "___, it's ok if you like him - it's obvious he likes you." And said I was alright with it, but I felt like *^*^ at the time, and over summer I got over him completely.

THEN this boy who I thought I'd never have a chance with became my friend; sweet, hot, kind and caring. He had his imperfections, but so does everybody. He's quite popular and I weaned myself off him, but it was way harder than last time. When my blonde, tanned, bright blue eyed best friend started flirting with him, and he seemed to like it, I gave up hope.

Since the other day though, when we went climbing, I've caught him looking at me so much, he's been nice, loving, flirtatious... I pretty much DREAMED of this for 3-4 months.

I've been trying to get back into him but I've talked myself out of it so much I can't, I wish I could but I can't.... AGGGGH!

xxxmovies and books. Found out I was talking to

First off, are you sure he is who he says he is?
Have you actually ever seen him?
