just got my fursuit and it was RAINING outside. Ups decided to leave it out there and I just ugggghhhhhhh the bodysuit was soaking wet and there was a huge pool of water on the top, I followed the makers intructions and the body is now dry, I am so so glad the body was the only thing that got wet. I am not looking for a moldy head haha.

I just purchased my first partial suit! I wanted a cheaper premade to start with because I don't know for certain if I'll like suiting or not.

Scored him for pretty cheap, and I'm really excited for his arrival!

You can usually find a lot of lesser-known makers on social sites like Instagram, Tumblr, and Facebook. If you search "furry" in Facebook, there are tons of fursuit groups there. You could also check out Furbuy and Dealer's Den, even if you aren't looking for a premade, it's still a good place to look around at peoples' styles and see if you find any makers you might like.

I know I plug my own maker a lot on here, but I'd recommend ugolek_fursuitstudio on Insta. They're pretty good quality and you can get a partial from them for below $500.
