Fursuit Thread V2 OPEN (New Poll)

Wow, it's been forever since I've posted here.

Regardless, now that I have a job (yet don't have to pay bills or anything of the sort so lucky me), I'm thinking about setting some money aside every month to get a fursuit!

Plus, because I don't plan on attending cons for maybe a few more years, that gives me plenty of time.

Any opinions on a maker I should commission when the time comes for this guy?

He's fairly new so I'm still trying to work out what kind of style would fit him best.

Adorable!! I love him!! He looks a bit like a toony-semi toony suit to me, just because of the colors, so I'd say maybe MoreFurLess? They open up for commissions August 15-20th, but I don't know if they offer payment plans or not.
The only other makers that are well known comeing to mind for me are DHC and AutumnFallings, but I know of a ton of makers on IG who might be taking commissions :0
A good idea would be posting on IG or Twitter looking for makers because there are TONS of them on there

So, I'm a young fur (going into high school) and want to get a fursuit when I'm older (around 18). I don't have an actual job yet and won't for a few years, but I've started saving my money (currently 70 dollars CAD) for 4 weeks now, and was wondering if anyone had any tips for earning money? I'm currently doing odd jobs around the town, but I'm not making alot of money yet.

I was also wondering about who to commision for a fursuit when I'm old enough. I'm not the best artist and I draw traditionally, so I'll be commisioning someone for a ref sheet when the time is right.
Anyways, the character I'll be getting a fursuit of will be a sabertooth hyena, with white, yellow, blue and pink markings, female, and be a somewhat grumpy goof. (design is wip). I know that there will be new fursuit makers in the next few years, but I like to plan ahead. (and also, I'm just curious on your opinions) I'm looking for a toony fursuit creator (not extremely toony), but maybe follow me eyes also.

I'd recommend the person who made my fursuit!
They're prety inexpensive and their style (toony but not SUPER toony) sounds like what you're describing.
This is some of their older work, but they've also made a hyena before.

i cant ever overcome my social anxiety in suit. people always talk about how suiting makes you more social and stuff, but i cant relate to any of that at all. ive had many people start conversations with me while im suiting, but i come off as cold and shy because i always try to get away as fast as possible and have a really weak stance in the conversation. i even had someone text me later that i seemed incredibly shy and that they had even thought that they had scared me. its just really frustrating and im afraid to spend money on a fullsuit just to have this problem persist and build up an iffy reputation. not really asking for advice, just kinda ranting.

I could use some advice for fursuiting. I own a partial, but I'm not really sure how to dress with it. Half the stuff I own makes my arms look too thin compared to my big head and paws, but I also live in an extremely hot place, so anything like normal hoodies and jackets is a no go because it'll make me overheat much faster. Any suggestions?

just got my fursuit and it was RAINING outside. Ups decided to leave it out there and I just ugggghhhhhhh the bodysuit was soaking wet and there was a huge pool of water on the top, I followed the makers intructions and the body is now dry, I am so so glad the body was the only thing that got wet. I am not looking for a moldy head haha.
