i just joined and haven't felt like finding my own pic to upload, so i just picked one of the site ones, and found a picture of what i believe to be a hyrax! i loveee obscure mammals, and the hyrax is getting some much deserved attention on certain parts of the internet lately :D they also make a super cute sound, like an angry little "WAWA"

and a fun fact about hyraxes: although they look like rodents, their closest genetic relatives are elephants and manatees/dugongs!

although i think once i decide to actually make my own icon, i'll do a picture of a sturgeon, since they're my favorite fish (and maybe favorite animal in general)

I seem to have switched my avatar to someone else than Cour for a change. I sort of liked how the little picture I drew of my character Aurora turned out earlier this summer before my depression and burnt out issues got worse. I guess I somewhat wanted to have some sort of light nowadays in hopes that it would make me feel better?

And I always end up missing the northern lights the few times they come to where I live, so I guess I can stare at Aurora instead whenever I do miss them.
