How many gallons is your tank? : 46, maybe larger.
How many fish and what types are they? : None yet
How long has it been running? : about 2 months
Did you cycle it? : yes for about 2 months
If possible what are the ammonia nitrite and nitrate levels? : safe and none
What is the issue or question? : I have a few actually.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
How large should my plants be before getting fish? ('ve only done live plants one other time, but that was in a 10 gallon. this tank is considerably larger.)

How many flowers are health, or rather, can too many flowers hurt the tank?

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Also, i'd like some help. I am doing a tropical tank, but i want a couple semi-agressive fish and the rest community, but that wont work out, i think, because the one fish i want the most may eat guppies. i really want colorful fish like platys and mollies, but thee are also favorites of mine that my dad has owned (such as sharks, knives, and Angelfish). i also want gouramis. i'm not sure where to start deciding. can someone help me by telling me what can go with what, and what you think is better, community, semi-aggressive, or mix?

How many gallons is your tank? :
Twenty gallon
How many fish and what types are they? :
four golden barbs, a panda platy and a female red velvet swordtail
How long has it been running? :
about two months
Did you cycle it? :
yes.
If possible what are the ammonia nitrite and nitrate levels? :
I don't know, but I'm going to the store today and I'll ask if they can test it.
What is the issue or question? :
My female swordtail seems to be growing some fungus on her sides. At last night I thought it might just be some scarring on her but now it looks like..well, fungus. Is there anything I can do to help it go away then just keep the tank clean?
I'm an old player from back in 2010 and really just on here to look for art
If you like any of the pets I have that are only uncommon/common if you send me a pun I'll almost certainly give them to you for free :)

Hey friends check out my adopts here : )
Ps- If i ever had any beef with any of you i am so, so sorry i was an arrogant jerk of a child who threw a fit whenever I didn't get my way

Oh my gosh. The trumpet snails in my 55 gallon tank survived the water being drained, being transported in below freezing temps, and being rinsed in super hot water. How do you kill these things?! Ugh!

Mine are all still small right now, about 1 centimeter, but they can grow up to about an inch long. I got a loach to eat them, but it seems perhaps the shells of the trumpet snails are just too hard. They are difficult to crush with your fingers. I don't want to get any minnows. Maybe I will try getting assassin snails again.
