The betta kept harrassing them. :( Every time they would pop out of their shells to look around he would peck at them. They are back in the 2.45 gallon now and zooming around. I'll just keep an eye out for a cheap 10 gallon and have a tank just for snails and plants. :)

I might spawn him right away. I'll have to see. I'm not just getting him, though. He is coming with a matching sister. Otherwise I wouldn't be able to breed him if I wanted to. I only have plakats.

Anyone know how to make betta fins grow? My betta had fin rot when I bought him (he's better now), and his fins haven't been growing. They're slightly longer than the fins of a female betta ATM.

I'm pretty sure that adding in StressCoat+ when you change the water will help to encourage tissue growth. If my internet would stop freezing I could double check on that :/ but the internet at school sucks

Do water changes more often. Also keep in mind that fins don't grow back as quickly as the fish gets older.

I think he's still fairly young (I've had him for about 4 months) and is also fairly small (so I think he was young when I bought him). I'll try that c:

When I picked up mine I got it from PetSmart but I think many pet stores carry it. It is good for use with general water changes too since it helps with the chlorine and stuff from tap water

How do I kill off unwelcome snails? They have decided to come in and take over.

Are they pond snails? They multiply like crazy. Most Loaches will eat them, as well as puffers. Another option is another snail, an Assassin Snail, like their name they kill other snails. Assassin snails need a male and female to reproduce, so one would have them without babies. If you don't want fish in there yet, build a trap! Use some lettuce and place it on the bottom, leave it for a few hours or till the next morning, then remove and toss. Repeat. This will take longer and will never completely remove them, but it will reduce the number.

Thank you.

I love trading, although I'm recently back from a long hiatus so I'm not fully up to date on demand. For any current event pets, I’ll only trade them away if I have a double, and I don't trade growing pets Real life got hectic and I somehow missed the whole month of May on here. Looking for all May pets, will keep WL updated as I go

I use bold a lot because it's easier for me to read, since you can't change other people's font size and being zoomed in constantly is annoying

I am a holibomber!
Sig was getting long, my counts have been moved to trade rules

I had to put my 20g on the floor because I broke my dresser when I was moving it and my cats knocked a bunch of stuff into the tank and my 7 baby kribs died :x . I guess I can set-up the low-tec tank that I have been wanting to set-up. I think I want to keep it really simple with just a few types of plants and 2 CFL bulbs in clip on fixtures. I have a Aqueon QuietFlow 10 filter right now and I want to add a Fluval 1 Plus filter to get rid of some of the dead spots. That should give me 153gph of filtration. Eventually I want to switch to a Fluval 106 or Fluval 206. I have 17" & 14" Mopani wood pieces, a 17" drift wood piece and a clay pot. I have Java Moss and small Java Ferns on all the wood and the pot. I am going to start off with a Betta and some Ghost Shrimp and think about what I really want to stock it with.
