- ☁ hey! this is gonna be more of a rant/asking for advice since I'm not sure what to do. we live in a neighborhood where there's a LOT of stray cats. we feed as many of them as we can outside with regular cat food but there's some we take indoors. we currently have around 10 indoor cats because it breaks my heart to see kittens outside being neglected by their mothers and underfed and full of parasites and fear. it's kitten season and this week we've taken in four. my parents refused to help me find a TNR organization (I can't really read this country's language) and shelters are full.
I asked the vet about a TNR organization but they're not working right now and are already 'booked' in other neighborhoods for as soon as they're back in buisness.
the huge problem here (besides the over-population) is that my dad doesn't like this many cats. he only likes the one that's his and will call all the others names etc. I try to pitch in as much as I can with feeding them and cleaning the boxes and playing with them and stuff.
I don't know what to do anymore. we're basically running a cat shelter at this point except that my dad's not on board at all. I don't know how to convince him that I'm ready to put the work in to help these cats. I guess I just wanted to let it all out.
