*poofs in for a moment* just wanted to point out that wolves are not carnivorous. Yes, they eat a lot of mean however they also eat berries and fruit from plants. Canines are not true carnivorous, Felines are though. I learnt about it at College where I study animal management. Just thought I would share that as it shows how little is known about wolves as that fact was only discovered a few years ago. :)*poofs back out again*
Sorry for my slow response time on RP's. My new job steals ALL my time. :(

I believe that people have known that wolves aren't fully carnivorous for a while. On the other hand, a little known fact is that wolves prefer fish to elk/deer/moose/bison and other animals of similar sort. Probably because fishing is an easier method of feeding oneself, and takes up less energy with less risk of being injured.

Yes.. It is rare to see a Wolf fish, but as I was walking I spotted one carrying a fish.

Actually their diet is mostly feild mice then elk/fish/etc.

I thoght this might interest other wolf and animal lovers: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01fnfr5

Two-part natural history series following the fortunes of one very special pack of wolves as they return to North America's West Coast.
im not sure if its available outside the UK but you can check out the link.
Episode 1: April 5th
Episode 2: April 6th

As it is starting very soon im going to put a new thread about it in Animal Chatter to let as many CS wolf/animal lovers as possible to know about it!

I just found a link to this and as soon as I realized what I was looking at I'm like O.o AAAAAAGGGGGHHHH!!!! a save the wolves thing I'm so happy! *clears throat* anyway just so you know there really isn't actually any such thing as a fully carnivorous animal (or person for that matter although I'm still debating about with my brother about my poppy who'll eat meat extremely rare) anyway all animals carnivorous or not will eat grass or something similar when they are feeling unwell so.......

Anyway I love wolves to the point where I have gone to the point where I have perfected a wolf howl so good that I can scare my younger brother if I try it out! My soul animal is even a wolf! (sadly my Chinese thingy is an ox *sobs* so sad) I'm a fanatic for wolves did you know they killed out all the wolves in Yellowstone park but now they are reintroducing them because caribou.... I think that's it..... Numbers have risen too high because wolves were their natural predator and take one natural factor out and another will go crazy!

Any way I love wolves and WOW I wrote a lot oh well
nothing to see here
