Hi there! Part of the reason I have a lot of different pets available as prizes is because I want everybody to be able to win something good. I didn't like the idea of having a couple of 'good' prizes because not only did I think this would deter some people from participating once's there's what could be considered good entries, but I also didn't like the idea of people putting hard work into their art pieces to then receive something lousy. I have entered a few art competitions in the past, and the experiences made me think about what I personally would want an art competition to be, and so I hope I can make my art competition inclusive for everyone, and encourage everyone's creativity. Art has always been subjective, and as someone who has been involved and passionate about art for my entire life, judging the entries won't be as straightforward as 'that one looks the most accurate' because art has always been much more than that. I love to see the heart and soul of an art piece.

Aww that’s amazing! Yeah I used to be into art contests and kept doing them and doing them for the first place and I never even won anything really haha. Maybe the 7th place prize so I gave up but yeah I love that you finally acknowledge that whole concept of entering and leaving with Atleast something worth while makes everyone happy and feel good. It’s also amazing how you think aswell, that it’s not the “oh that looks the best and up to standards” kinda drawing but instead the one made with the most love and joy put into it. I just think gifts and everything should be the best depending on that aspect. I hope good things come you’re way. you’re truly really open minded and caring and it’s so amazing <3
