First off, I am so sorry to those who entered! My computer has been giving me issues lately, and I also haven't had as much time as I normally do on the computer. I apologize about the late judging.

Seriously, Crystal gryphon, you DESERVE the 2009 dog. Honestly, I was blown away by the stupendous entry you created. I am HAPPY to give you the dog. You clearly have a lot of talent, and I really LOVED seeing you work, as you sent me the link to the speedpaint version of the drawing. You put so much work into this drawing, and you truly captured her entire essence so perfectly, and I just LOVE it so much. Thank you for the MARVELOUS entry.

SECOND PLACE goes to Shining Armor. (who has now changed her username) with this GREAT picture of my first Cheese Doodle, Tidal Wave!

THIRD PLACE goes to Kydashing with another picture of my Cerial, Idris!

I liked your entry because you made it your own - you added your own flair to the whole picture, and I just LOVE how you made the text look. You made Idris's coat look very shiny and neat - and you drew her talking, which was a plus. Also, you had an excellent attitude about the whole contest - when I asked if you'd like more time to work on your entry and if you'd like an extension, you declined on every account, saying you didn't want to make the other people who had entered this contest wait any longer than they had already had to. I am only giving out three prizes, which means that loverofdogs' entry didn't place.

She/he drew a picture of my Cheese Doodle, Tidal Wave, as a panda. I'm sorry you didn't place, but there were other entrants who submitted art that I personally thought were more deserving of the pets.
