Species information:

an Aegolius is a very old species in the shape of an owl. here are some DO's and DON'T's for your succes with your little adoptable:


How does this work?
First you fill in the form below and tell us which CS pets should be the parents of your Aegolius, then we'll cross these two pets and breed your little baby.
After your recieved your Aegolius you have to feed it 3 times to make it grow to the next stage.. BUT you can feed your Aegolius just once a day!!!
In addition to this you should pet your Aegolius once a day but not more than twice (because they don't like to clean themselfs too much) and maybe it will grow faster then!
You can feed and pet your Aegolius with posting a short message under its pictures thread like "I feed my Aegoiuls with an apple now."

What does an Aegolius like?
An Aegolius likes to eat worms, little mice, nuts and sometimes a bit of a fruit. If it's still an egg you could make things easier for him if you spray a juice made aof the things it likes the most on it. Than it can absorb it easier.
If you want to make your Aegolius happy, take him in your palm and pet it's beak.
When he's grown to a juvenil Aegolius you can let him hop on your arm and carry him a bit or just let him fly.
(Just post a message with what you're doing with your Aegolius to make al this ^^)

What does an Aegolius take to amiss?
He doesent like to have hunger. If you forget to feed him one day it will take him one day longer to grow up.
He really hates to be petted on his wings... because this means he has to clean them carefully to be able to fly again.
And he will realla resent sitting around and beeing bored to you. If you didn't look after him for one week he'll just fly away and find another home!

Note!
Once your Aegolius is fully grown it can take care of it's own. So... you don't have to feed and pet it anymore if you don't like to! It will come to you if it needs something =)

- I originally had the idea of the Aegolii and I finally drew them. After circa one year in which I ran the adoptables selling on my own my timetable has changed extremely... so I decided to hire some artists to help me ^^
But I reserve me the right to an ordere from time to time =)

Knoere
- Knoere is my partner and my best friend in one person. We own the MadArtHuose together. She, too, came up with the fabulous idea of an adoptable series. She invented the "Chamelea"

Hello^^ My name is Charm, call me whatever you like though XD I don't mind, and I am studying wolves and big cats at the moment. Most of the time I spend my time drawing. Both digital and traditional, but my traditional is better. I have a real love to wolves, and polar bears are so adorable, and big cats! Since I saw the Aeoglii, I've loved them. And that's how I (probably) came to be a guest artist here^^ I also love birds, and I practice drawing them by tracing. So soon I should be good at drawing them^^ I also have a talent of writing. But drawing just beats it, since they are both near the top of my hobby list, but drawing is first XD So, that's me XD

the Payment:
one Aegolius costs 3 Uncommons or 1 rare from our wishlist depending on the date ^^
you can order one litter per form, which can consist of up to 3 Aegolii (you don't have to pay each Aegolius in a sigle trade, we can discuss the prize if you order a litter of two or three)

The payment trade has to be send to me (die Lille) and I'll give a salary to my artists every month based on how much Aegolii they've produced. To make this fair we will build our own wishlist here on this thread were each artist can add the pets he/ she really wants for payment. So when you are ordering, please have a look at this list to choose your payment option from it and add one pet from my wishlist in each payment trade!! =)
If you don't own any of these pets don't hesitate to ask for some other options... I'm sure we can figure something out together!

Rules

well... of course all of Tess's rules apply here, too!!

1) you have to fill out a form, choosing two CS pets as parents for your Aegolius
2) you SHOULD choose your payment option from our wishlist
3) NO whinin, grumbling or being rude!!
4) NO minni modding (we are capable of running this thread alone ^^)

How you can order your Aegolius:
we will open all slots together at a time... (all opening will be promoted on the newsticker, the title and on last post of the thread ^^) if you see we are open just fill out the form and wait untill we accept.
You can say in your form which artist you'd like to draw your order (if it doesen't matter to you please write the name of the artist which isn't named yet so often in the other forms ^^)
This is no first come first serve!!! we'll discuss the forms and decide which we want to draw! (so be carefull to fill them out well )

if you are Coppa'd don't worry... read the rules well, copy the form and post it on this oekaki thread =)

thes owlet decided to stay at the MadArtHouse and have an eye on the poor little darlings which have to wait here until they get adopted again... so take care and be nice or he'll bite you ears ^^

after several warnings from me I'll release the Aegolii from their home they don't want to live in and take them in our MadArtHouse where they wait for a new and warm home. I'll present them here with a linked picture so that you just have to click on the one you think you would like to adopt and then you can fill out a form and apply for the chosen cutie =)
