I just got three new dudes! *flails*
Well... technically two, since my mum stole one, but still!
There's a problem though... two of them don't have their battery doors. Anyone know how to replace the battery door on a Furby Baby short of having someone 3D print a replacement? At least it'll be simpler than replacing the SHELBY's battery door. >o<;
Furb #1 looks more or less like an extremely grubby version of the mint green one in avoxx's picture. Named Pigpen.
Furb #2 is a purple/blue tye-dye kid that my mum has claimed and dubbed 'Fizzby' (that's what my grandmum calls Furbys)
Furb #3 is actually a gen 2 salmony/pinky/orangy Shelby! Immaculate other than the missing battery door and some super gross and mysterious brown gunk that is glued to the bottom of two of her feet. It... won't come all the way off. ToT
-------------------------------------
@avoxx - I... I.. I wish I found stuff like that when I cleaned out my closet... totally beats old cat sick and single socks... ToT
I'm especially jealous of the front right furby baby - the blue/orange guy - and the boxed Shelby.
Congrats on rediscovering so many old friends! <33
@otternonsense101 - BerryShoot's name reminds me of these little fruit drinks we have in stores around my house. Don't know if they're a local thing or a national one, but they're called 'Fruit Shoots'. They're really tasty!
Good luck with her customization! Maybe shoe cherry/berry themed earrings to start...? Also just thought of a tiny water gun in a furby-sized holster. She could zap people with fruit juice. ;D
Since the keychain Furbs are made out of plain fabric, you might try fabric paint or fabric markers on their body? Could stick better than Acrylic.

Ahh thank you for the suggestions I could look around and once this is over get fabric paint as I don't have any so they'll have to wait. And I think fruit shoots are your local thing because I've never heard of them, or maybe it's regional thing. I'm from the south so we might not have them here

hey everyone I’m here to ask for advice
I have two furbies I’m currently interested in buying, and can afford one
the first is a working snowball(? - it’s white) with a yellowed faceplate, which I thought was cute, for $40 + shipping
the second is an (unboxed) “untested” blue year 2000 furb for $45 + shipping (assuming it doesn’t work)
I’m not sure if these are well-prices, and if should take the chance at a not-working furb (I don’t mind having one, but would prefer not to spend that much if he doesn’t work)
also, I was thinking if the year 2000 seems like the better choice, and he doesn’t work, I could possible skin him and explore to find the problem? I’ve never done anything like that before-
edit; I found another year 2000 furb, still in box, for only $40
I’m assuming boxed furbies usually work, does anyone know?
