but one question, how did you make it?

Today was the day.

All the rehearsing, all the planning and all the stress was finally coming to an end. Here he was, Rumble Lane, ready to finally make ask the question that would change his life, and Choconator Sweettooth's life, forever.

24 year old Choco smiled warmly at her coltfriend of 10 years. Today was their anniversary, and naturally they had wanted to have a nice romantic evening to themselves. They had come to a very fancy restaurant, which had taken quite a bit of persuading on Rumble's part, and they were both dressed for the occasion. Rumble was sporting a very handsome white dress shirt and black jacket, not to mention a bright red bowtie. Choco was wearing a simple white dress, and she'd even flattened her mane. It curled around the side of her neck a bit and fell over one bright red eye. "Nice choice of restaurants babe, I could go without the dress though." She commented, glaring disdainfully at the dress.

Rumble looked over to the band and shot them a wink. It was time. "Well Chocy, I have something I really need to tell you." He confessed, his cheeks turning rosy and his ears pressing flat against his skull as he smiled nervously at her.

Choco smiled reassuringly. "Trust me Rumble, after 10 years you can tell me anything." She reassured him, setting a forehoof lightly on one of his own.

The Pegasus stood up, surprising his fillyfriend. He trotted over to the band and they nodded, handing him a microphone. He turned and looked at Choco, who looked very confused and a bit excited. Rumbled curled the tip of his wing around the microphone and held it in front of him as the music started playing. All conversations died as the song started playing, music filling the room.

"When you try your best, but you don't succeed
When you get what you want, but not what you need
When you feel so tired, but you can't sleep
Stuck in reverse..."

Rumble had to keep from chuckling at the look of surprise on Choco's face. He smiled warmly at her, before continuing.

"And the tears come streaming down your face
When you lose something you can't replace
When you love someone, but it goes to waste
Could it be worse?"

Choconator put a hoof over her mouth. He was standing on a stage in front of a restaurant full of ponies, singing to her. Her eyes started watering and she smiled tearfully, feeling an incredible sense of joy wash over her.

Rumble extended a foreleg towards her and gestured for her to come on stage with him.

"Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you..."

Choco started towards the stage, feeling many pairs of eyes bore into her. She took his extended hoof, and gasped a bit as he pulled her close. He held her hoof and stood up on his hindlegs, eyes sparkling as he began to dance and twirl with her.

"And high up above or down below
When you're too in love to let it go
But if you never try you'll never know
Just what you're worth..."

Tears were threatening to spill over in the mare's eyes as Rumble lead her around the stage, his free wing holding her close as he held her forehooves. She stared up at him with wonder in her eyes and a bright smile upon her face.

"Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you..."

Then the music picked up. Rumble moved his hooves to his mare's sides and lifted her up, flaring his wings out for balance. He held her in the air and spun around with her as the music played, staring into her beautiful red eyes. Then he dipped and lifted one foreleg, the other wrapping around her waist as he held her close to the floor, staring into her eyes as he brought the microphone back to his mouth.

"Tears stream down your face
When you lose something you cannot replace
Tears stream down your face
And I..."

Tears were sliding down Choco's cheeks as she stared into his perfect purple eyes. Tears of pure, indescribable joy.

"Tears stream down your face
I promise you I will learn from my mistakes
Tears stream down your face
And I..."

Rumble gently lowered Choco fully to the ground in a sitting position, before sitting in front of her. He gently lifted a hoof to her cheek and started wiping away her tears.

"Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you~"

Rumble held the note for a moment, before gently moving his hoof to her chin and tilting her head up and kissing her. Applause instantly erupted from the ponies in the restaurant as he dropped the microphone and wrapped his wings around her, sweeping her into a huge hug.

When they broke apart, Rumble set her back down. He placed a forehoof in his coat pocket, rummaging around for a moment before he pulled out a small black box.

Choco gasped and put a hoof to her mouth, tears starting down her cheeks anew. She watched as he bent his knees and got down, before holding the small black box out to her on one pale wing.

"Choconator Sweettooth..."

Rumble opened the box with his other wingtip, revealing the diamond ring within.

"Will you marry me?"

What does everyone think of the names Wind Whisper and Ice Gleam?

I'm making two ponies and they both are siblings. c:

Their names sound super adorable. I always make my characters related for some reason.

I don't think I've ever posted my characters actually...So here they are.

Pegasus Dad + Earth pony Mom =


This distant and cold pony is named Aridwind. The only colt in his family, he was the second oldest out of 5 sisters.


Believe it or not, she is in the family also. She was born with the heavy bones of an earth pony, so she is unable to fly.


And this lovely dearie is named Pixie Dust. She's the youngest of the group. She's happy, bubbly and carefree in most of the roleplays I put her in. Pixie can also be anxiety ridden, however, whenever she is feeling stressed out.

What does everyone think of the names Wind Whisper and Ice Gleam?

I'm making two ponies and they both are siblings. c:

Aww.. I always make my characters related for some reason. xD Their personalities clash like crazy.

They are going to be my first sibling ponies. I was going to make Frost Whisper and Emerald Shine siblings but they didn't look related or act related, and I never use Frost Whisper. I just like her design.

Mine don't look related either honestly, just look above, they are all sorts of crazy. Don't tell Pixie she's adopted...

I don't know how two Pegasus could make a full green Pegasus and a light grey and blue earth pony xD

They pulled that off in the show during the Baby Cakes episode. So I don't see why not. :3 Two earth ponies make a pegasus and a unicorn.
