Okay, I don't want to sound like a whiny baby, but I'm confused. I know my art isn't that good, but literally no one wants to buy it. Am I not putting enough tags on my deviations? Is it because I can't shade? Is it because my anatomy is off? Are the prices too high? Or maybe my art is just downright ugly. If anatomy is the case, I look at so many pictures of animals, but I still can't seem to draw them correctly. I just can't find my style. It seems to be ever-changing. The only time I can really ever draw good is at school, of all places! When I actually try to draw, I can't. But when I'm just bored at school, it seems to come out really good (to me, at least). As for shading, I know all the logic. Determine your light source and then shade accordingly. But that doesn't help. It doesn't help me figure out where to place it. And for my style itself, I can't seem to settle on one. I'm subconsciously jumping around from style to style, usually creating really ugly pictures.

I guess my point is, I need help, from anyone who feels they can. I would be so grateful to anyone who can give any sort of advice. I'm sorry that I went on sort of a rant there, but I've been debating on whether or not to post here, and decided it was time I get some advice. I just feel really discouraged right now about my artistic abilities.

Anyway, to make this post relevant, I drew something that I'm proud of, at least...

Edit;; Now that I've cooled down a bit, here we go. I need to get back in the zone, so I'll be doing some free art! Just PM me your characters and I'll pick and choose which ones I think I'll be able to do. :3 Or maybe even the ones I think I can't do...XD Full now!

@SilverCrescentMoon: Cheer up and don't be so negative <3 It's normal that at first no one will buy things from you, just give it a bit time <3 I don't know your prices but maybe try lowering them? You'll see if people want things if you lower them or not. Also it's pretty hard to get commissions on dA if you don't have many followers or an artstyle that isn't that popular, I know that myself ;A; But do me one favor: Do not make your art down, do not stop drawing and don't say you can't draw: Because that is not true and only drawing will make you draw better.
